I hope you're doing OK today!!
I think I'll check out disneyshopping today. Not so much for the guys, but for me!!
I can't wait to see what you come up with to identify us.

Happy Halloween to everyone!! I love Halloween. It's chocolate heaven. I do miss when all my guys went trick or treating though. Now it's just DS10. DS 15 gives out candy (so DH is off the hook  ), and DS12 (almost 13) has decided to just come for the walk this year. It has been fun to watch the groups of kids grow up and new groups start trick or treating. We see lots of kids on the street, but not everyone makes the trek up our 500 ft. driveway--just neighbors and people that know us, which means a few more each year. It's going to be a nice night, in the 60's here, which is warm for this time of year. Fun, fun, fun!

I haven't attempted to get out the bed yet this morning to go to the bathroom. I think whatever was there last night when I went to sleep is still there. :( I'll let ya'll know when I get back from the doctor's office later.

Has your DS15 not asked to begin attending bonfires and parties with friends for Halloween? That is the next step after the handing out candy phase. Don't rush them to grow up, that is for sure. Courtney hasn't sprung her wishes for tonight on me yet only because she knows I can't stay home alone because of my set back. She's going to leave school to drive me to the doctor this morning so depending on what he says, I may hear her ideas for the night before she brings me back home.

I'm really trying to find a place that would be inexpensive to have custom made lanyards made for us! How's that for an idea -- either a black lanyard with green writing or lime green lanyard with black writing . . . "Disney Eastern Caribbean Cruise 2/17 - 2/24/07."

Let's bounce this idea everyone.

The lanyard is a cute idea, but now as retunring guest I think that we all get lanyards and pins.
Lisa, let us know what doctor say how scary....
We are at 108 days of the cruise, and I booked this cruise just about 1 year ago, it seemed that it would be soooooo far away.

True, true, true about the lanyards. Oops . . . brain not working. I'll figure something out though.

The doctor checked to be sure I didn't develop a hernia. The only sure fire way to rule it out is by CT scan and he is hoping to wait it out without having to do that. He changed my next appointment -- moved it up by a week or so. I'm back on anti-inflamatory meds and have to wear my "binder" (its like a velcro girdle). I'm sure its for hernia prevention.

Hi, We are just so pysched that our Disney Cruise is coming up so fast. We have been wanting to do this for many years. It is our first time ever cruise. Our kids are... DD14,DS11,DS5,DD3. Any suggestions would be great... pirate:

We do have cruise vets in our group here for the 2/17/07 cruise that can help you out.

Sue is compiling a list of people coming with us. PM her the names in your party and corresponding ages for the children, your hometown, room numbers, pre-cruise hotel, dining time (main or late) and email address.

If you don't feel comfortable sending in certain things for the database, it isn't a problem - be generic!

Especially . . . . send the names of the children so that I can include them in my special project.

Hello everyone, We are going to be on this cruise as well. We have 2 boys one is 16 and the other is 13.

This will be our first DCL cruise. We have cruised before but with a different cruise line, was ok, but not great. I have been reading the forum for a month now, but haven't posted anything yet, figured it was about time. Thanks for all the great info. Thanks to all of you experience cruisers, I have picked up on some awesome tips. :woohoo:

We were at WDW in 2005, it was the best family vacation ever. Really wanted to do the Disney cruise since we were there....

Pam

Welcome Pam!!!

Seems that we have a few teens on the cruise! My dd and her best friend are 16 - will almost be 17, and I believe there are two other older teen boys -- 17, I think.

You won't be disappointed in your vacation!!!!!

Welcome Pam, which other cruise did you go on in the past.
I think that you will really enjoy your DCL cruise, this will be our 4th and we are really looking forward to it.

Welcome Pam and family! :welcome: My kids were happy to hear of more boys on the trip! My boys are 15, 13 and 10...
It's a great group on this thread meet. We will be planning some meets on the ship, and having the kids get to know each other via e-mail before we sail. If you're interested, I am keeping a list of all of us, and will email it to everyone when we get closer. If you want me to add your family's info, please PM me the following. Just leave anything out that you would rather not give...

This is the info we are collecting
Name, sex, ages of all travellers, where you are from, stateroom number/s, dining time, precruise hotel, email address.

Welcome Pam and Family. My DS is a senior in HS and really looking forward to the cruise. He picked this cruise even over RCCL for his graduation present, so I imagine your boys will have a great time.

I'm going to payoff our cruise tomorrow! Its great to be getting closer to our sail date!!!

I hope everyone is doing well and not letting the early winter weather get you down. Just think of those warm Caribbean breezes to rid you of the chill.

  :beach: :beach:

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Christine the cruise line we did before was RCCL. It was only a 5 night cruise to a couple of ports in Mexico. We found not enough things for the DS to do.
Glad to hear there are a few teenage boys going, my 2 DS will be glad to hear that. DS's are really looking forward to the WWoS deck. Tho basketball is not as big as hockey here.

Can hardly wait until we can get somewhere warm, has been cold here lately.

Thankld Pam, I am actually looking at RCCL for next year, the prices for DCL are getting quite high, and I thought that it would be fun to try something different.

We are 101 days away from our cruise and I am paid in full

Congrats!! :thumbsup2
I'm paid off too, but still ahve to decide on excursions. We are debating btween Capt. Nautica and the Eco Hike on St. john. No clue for St. Maarten yet. The only thing that's set is parasailing on Castaway Cay. I hope we can decide before we can reserve on the 19th. I know Palo ressies go fast, how about excursions?

Christine and Sue:

Did you book through DU? If so and even if not, what does your status say on the DCL website? I'm just worrying up a storm here since mine says booked and it is what it has always said.

I really thought last year when I paid off our 2/2006 cruise that it changed to Paid in Full or something like that.

Lisa

UPDATE: I decided to call Disney directly just to be sure everything was okay and both of my reservations are showing paid in full in their system!

Did they give you the info even though you booked through a TA? They wouldn't give me my room credit balance a few months ago because I used a TA. My DCL page says booked too. How about you Christine?

My room says booked also, on the DU site it says paid in full, so I am not worried, and I know that the payment is made right to DCL.

And we can do the double digit dance....99 days to go :dance3: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I am driving my husband nuts, he just does not get the excitement and my older DD keeps telling me that I am mean....... :rolleyes1

Double digits!!!

I love doin' the double digit dance! :cool1:  :cool1:

My DH is about to be driven even further crazy ;)
We are going up to Ogunquit, ME for a one night mini getaway. Little does he know I packed my DCL binder, and we aren't coming home until we decide on excursions :rotfl:
