By the way, I know this little guy is supposed to represent laughing so hard you have to lay down and hold your stomach---but everytime I see it, it reminds me of swimming at Castaway Cay
Also, isn't it a bit sad that I am leaving Friday for an RCCL trip, but I am on the DCL boards (I am NOT obsessed with DCL, no, no, no, I am NOT obsessed with DCL.....

He saw me on this board, and said "I hope you don't burts into tears when they blow the ship's horn and it doesn't play "When You Wish Upon a Star"
Now I have to be sure I don't.

Sue, you have to promise to tell us all about your RCCL cruise, I might want to give them a chance at some point, we were thinking of trying the Mariner of the sea.

You do know that you are obessed when you have look at the menues and decided what you will eat 11 months ahead.......

hi everyone! my name is joe and im 16 years old. right now I am booked on RCCLs jewel of the seas for 8 nights to the E. caribbean during new years but I may be switching to this cruise. You are probably asking how a 16 year old is going to switch. well its my graduation present so I get to choose whatever cruise I want!!! I have been on 3 RCCL cruises, soon to be 4 in June!! I have heard nothing but the best about DCL and would really like to give them a try. The only thing that is holding me back from switching is RCCL. to me royal caribbean is amazing and I feel like no cruiseline can top them [atleast from a teens point of view].

I'll try to get my DS17 to pm you later. He can tell you about his experience on DCL. I gave him a choice too, and he picked DCL over RCCL. We have several friends who have been on Mariner or Jewel.

Hi Sue!

Which ship on RCCL are you and your family sailing on? We are booked for our first RCCL cruise in July. We are going on a Western as well and our ship is the Navigator of the Seas. Just wondering because if you are sailing on the same ship, I am curious to how it is compared to the Magic! (I am NOT obsessed with DCL...I am NOT obsessed with DCL... )

We are going on the Jewel of the Seas. I'll post a report when we return.

Being that I am NOT obsessed w/DCL...I am on my lunchbreak at work. Do I check on info for the trip we leave for in 2 DAYS!? NO!!!! I am here . Am I packed for Friday's departure?? NO!! But I know exactly what I will need for DCL...

When I get out of school today, I am going to get a pedicure-I hate naked toes in sandals. Then I will pack (or at least that is what I am telling myself). I told my kids no TV or baseball until they get started packing. But I know I'll be up really late tonight and tomorrow packing for everyone. It will all be worth it on Friday when we land. We are surprising the boys and going to Typhhon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach on Saturday!! Now i'm excited. mini Disney fix!!!

I hear the Jewel of the Seas is supposed to be fantastic!! Can't wait to hear how RCCL cruises are! Have a GREAT time on your cruise next week! Great to get that Disney fix in - Can't go until next year without one!! We are headed to Disneyland next week! Safe travels and look forward to hearing your RCCL report!!

Have fun in Disneyland! We've never been there-I can't wait to hear what it's like! My son just did a bio on Walt Disney, and we learned a lot about the park and how it came to be. Have a safe trip!!

One of my girl also did a bio on Disney and to dress as the character for the oral presentation, that was one of my favorite project so far......

Thanks so much, Sue! I LOVE Disneyland!! We went last year for the first time and had an absolute blast! It is really a great place (what Disney thing isn't?? )! I like that everything is within walking distance - no trams or buses needed! We are staying at the Grand Californian this time and that actually has an entrance right into California Adventure! Nothing like being right in the park! And the restaraunts are excellent in DTD (also within walking distance!! )! They have this restaraunt there called Walter Brennan's Jazz Kitchen that has a chocolate souffle that is almost identical to the one they make at Palo! To die for!! I could go on forever about DL!

Have a great trip next week and we'll have to swap vacation stories when we both get back. We're leaving Tuesday the 18th and returning Tuesday the 25th. The kids get an extra 2 days vacation! Can't wait to hear about the RCCL cruise! Are you stopping at Ocho Rios and/or Labadee? They are on our RCCL itinerary and I am a bit nervous about those 2 places!! Yikes!

Enjoy your cruise and just remember, we will all be setting sail on the Magic before we know it!!

Hi everyone, Just thought I'd let you know that my family and I will also be on this cruise. My DH, DD's (15 and 13 at the the time of the cruise) will also be on the cruise with me. We booked a cat. 9. We've never been on a Disney Cruise, but I am a HUGE disney fan!

to the board! You are in for a real treat on the Disney Cruise! My family and I went on our first Disney cruise this past February. We had the best time!! We can't wait for next year! I also have a dd that will be 13 on the cruise. Maybe we can get them to chat ahead of time so they can have a friend on the cruise! Just pm me and let me know!

Just checking in to see if we have any more people joining us! I am on my last day of vacation out in Anaheim. Not looking forward to coming home tomorrow night!!

Sue, I can't wait to hear how the RCCL cruise went! Did the boys enjoy it? Hoping my girls will enjoy RCCL. How are the activities for the kids?

Gotta run. We are getting ready to go to dinner and then hit the fireworks in Disneyland tonight. Can't wait for those!!
