I have never done the FE before --- I am so very "un-creative"

I am happy to participate, but honestly don't know how it works. Guess we could make up our own rules BTW we are in a GTY room---so I am not sure what deck we are on yet--sorry

I am not for sure how it works either, just what I read on here. We are in a GTY too so not for sure where we will be yet either. It sounds like fun, I just want it to be simple and painless.

This morning I had the TV on while getting ready and I heard something about 100 days till the Winter Olympics in Vancouver. I was thinking... hum... we're about to be at 90 days till our cruise - HOLD ON - there is about a week and a half (10 days) till there will be 90 days AAAAAAHHHHHH we will be on the cruise during the Winter Olympics - how cool is that! And we're about to go from triple into just double digit days till the cruise! The opening ceremony is on Feb 12! We sail on Feb 14! Yes it takes a while but eventually I catch onto things! And it doesn't take much to excite me!

I am the same way, I am driving my family crazy. Everything we talk about it ends up being about the cruise.

Hey everyone! Cruise is getting closer by the minute I've been ignoring the boards lately because DH and I are heading to Vegas next weekend. Been concentrating on that lately.

We would love to participate in the FE. For those of you that don't want to make an FE, I did notice that there were some really cute ones on Ebay. Just a thought! I like the idea of splitting it up so 2-3 families hand out gifts on one day. That will keep it much more managable.

Where is everyone staying on Saturday night? I tried to make a reservation at Residence Inn but they had a 2 night minimum. I'm considering Radisson at the port but it's a little pricey.

We're staying at the Quality Inn in Cocoa Beach, $109 including parking, shuttle.

We are staying at the Raddisson on that Saturday night. I got it for $97.00 just the hotel room, They told me that it did not include the breakfast, but I could park my car there and take the shuttle. So we will go eat breakfast somewhere else, I guess or just pay for it seperate. I did read on these threads of other people doing this. I just hope that it is stress free and easy.

Hi, everyone! I have been so busy with work, I haven't been able to check in.

Is everyone getting excited?? It's almost 3 months away!!!!! Not long now!

I booked my stay at the Four Points by Sheraton in Cocoa Beach, with parking/shuttle service package at the Radisson the morning of the cruise. I hope it works out well!

I would LOVE to participate in the Fish Extender exchange. My kids would LOVE it!!!! I have to search for one on ebay since I am SO not creative.

Well, I did it, we are now paid in full for the cruise! My savings account looks PITIFUL now, though! Gotta start saving for spending money, tips, gas, hotel, etc, now!

Congrats! Now you will be able to pre-book activities-- but be careful--they add up pretty quickly

Well I pulled up our reservation on DCL, we can't book activites till Dec 1 (75 days out), for some reason I was thinking 90 days, but I guess that's if you are Castaway Club, which we're not! Oh well, Dec 1 isn't too far away! I don't know that we'll be doing any excursions, I would like to try Palo.

We are skipping excursions this time but I have Palo and a Spa day booked --looking forward to some relaxing

Well the House Party was a no go. The hostess had everyone cancel on her except me and my 2 children! I was disappointed, but I had told her not to go to alot of trouble and expense just for me.

Ok just bought outside ins. to cover my trip. I hope I did the right thing by not going through disney. But I could not believe the difference in price. If anyone is interested I went to www.insuremytrip.com and then bought through Travelex, (Nationwide). Has anyone else ever bought outside ins.?

Yup, I've got it. As paranoid as I am about losing what was 4k, and even now at 2k, I couldn't buy it fast enough! I did go through insuremytrip, don't remember the actual company.

We will be on this cruise, too. It is DH, DS(8), DD(4), mother-in-law, and of course, me. My DH and I took a Carnival cruise and loved it, and now we are going with all the family then a WDW stay at AKL. We are on deck 8. We also booked an Alaskan Disney cruise for July 5, 2011. I think my children have skipped Christmas and just care about counting the days until cruise and Disney fun!

welcome Cruisenow01, I wish we were combining a trip to Disneyworld with the cruise. but not this time , we just went this past summer for 8 days. Can't get enough of the mouse....
