I think that is a great story. What I don't get is why you were going to wait 9years to get married. I guess going to New Orleans again is out ot the question. How much is the cost to renew your vows on the ship? 12 years, wow that is great! Dh and I will be married 17 in June. We are high school sweet hearts. We however waited 10 years to have kids, babysitting all my neices and nephews was the best form of birth control. lol

DUH on me! We weren't going to wait 9 years, I meant 1993. See what happens when you stay up as late as I do? Your brain goes to sleep way before the body does.
The vow renewals are $2798-$4198! So like I said, fun but lots of $$$.

Mark is right he is the biggest kid I have. I wouldn't trade him for the world. But Bill, if he is directing his eyes in the direction of some well built bikini clad woman I might be pushing him over the railing also.
Like Mark always says the Victoria Secret commercials are Gods way of compensating men for all the feminine product commercials.

Once we meet I will have to tell you guys how Bill and I met. Yes, thats right! Over the internet!!! He was in Alberta and I in Ontario. Let me tell ya girls.....I would not trade him for anything, even my neighbours want me to tell them when Im done with him..so I can toss him that way!! LOL

And Mark...at least if I tossed him overboard I would at least provide him with a bungy cord so I could while watching him dangle frantically over the side. How entertaining

Laura and Mark, your trip starts earlier than ours as you are driving down so enjoy and drive carefully! "Hint"...keep the sugar away from the kids before you get into the car...

Those tropical birds are super sensitive aren't they. My FIL used to have a couple big birds but gave them to his wifes son after she passed away. He decided they were too much work and that he wants to travel. I remember them telling us that they had to get rid of all their nonstick pans because if they got overheated the fumes could kill the birds. I would have gotten rid of the birds instead. LOL Their Sun Conure was just a turd. There was one time I was trying to give him a treat. He stepped up on my finger and then bent over and chomped down on my finger. You have no idea how much self control it took not to throw him against the wall! I'll take my yippy little miniature pinschers over birds any day! Don't get me wrong, I think the birds are beautiful but just way too sensitive and way too much work!

YES I DO!!! We have an Amazon Yellow nape that my DD calls Killer. He is great at the sic out. He steps up all nice and sweet on to my hand and then CHOMP!!!. Then he has the nerve to tell me he loves me. Yeah right. At least he does ask me if I'm okay.


Our other bird is an Mini Macaw. He is very pretty but he likes to screech. Sometime I want to open the door and say have at it. But I'm of the thought that if you willing take some thing into the home you have to keep it. I am searching for the right way to handle the screaming but he is pretty cute when he talks. Always asking for a bubble bath.
