I agree with you Kenda. I've found info on this board to be great. I only wish that I knew about it before I booked the cruise. There are a couple of things I would have done different but it doesn't matter now. I'm just getting so psyched for the cruise.

We got the flight info from DCL today. We have a 6:45 am flight the morning of the cruise so We'll be at the ship at a decent hour.

I can't wait to meet everyone!

Yep, i just wish i'd known about these boards earlier too. not only is there great info, but it's just fun! can't wait for our meet party. Anyone know if it is possible to ask for dinner partners? would be fun to sit together.

my hubby found a link that said ppl were able to board the ship as early as 11:45. that would sure be nice. have a nice lunch on board. get all settled in and then have the sail away party. we're going to try and get to port by 10 or 10:30 to drop of the rental car.

Does anyone have an 8-10 yr old son?? I have the COOLEST Disney aloha shirts! They're Reyn Spooners, size 10-12 (but I think they're a little on the small side) and they have Mickey surfing, Hula Minnie, Pluto swimming, Tourist Goofy, palm trees, film strips, a cruise ship,etc. They are so fun! My guys only wore them a couple of times on our last cruise. I hate to part with them, but I'd be happy to donate them to another Disney nut! I have two of them.

Sorry to hear about your TA problems Kenda--- I hope it all works out. It must be very frustrating!

Well it's not much notice but maybe we can try to plan another chat for sometime on Sunday. I know our west coast cruisers are having a hard time making the 9pm EST since it's the middle of dinner. Would it help if we pushed it back to 10pm EST (7pm PST). Let's give it a try. Looking forward to chatting with you again.

I think we pretty much determined that we were going to meet after the sailaway party in the promenade lounge. For those of you who have cruised, please recommend a time to meet.

Does anyone have a 3.5 or 4 year old (or so) child that would like a pre-cruse "penpal". I thought it would be nice for my DD3 to make a friend before the cruise that she can look forward to seeing at the club and about on the cruise.

I just learned you can have your dessert at dinner pack up to take back to your room!!!! I never knew that! And to think I risked implosion just to eat dessert last year....

I have twins - a DD and DS. My daughter is very outgoing while my son is very shy. She usually makes the friends and he joins in.

I have a three 1/2 year old son. I'm not sure how much he would get it but we could exchange pictures or something. He's very excited about going. He can be outgoing at times, then can switch to being shy. I've wondered how he will do in Kid's Club. Do we want to pair them up or just share emails all around? I know other people from the chat had 3 -4 year olds too. We will have our own little gang!

ok, so I just got off the phone with my TA and Delta postponed my flight home until the next day!! So gosh darn it we are going back to Disney for another night. Its costing us more money but oh well we are getting another day at Disney!!

Hey all- chats have been quite a bit of fun, although I will admit that the later it gets in EST, the quicker the conversation starts to "decline" a bit

Hopefully those of you that haven't had a chance to make it will be able to join us this Friday, Jan 20th @ 10pm EST . The extra hour seems to help our west coast cruisers, but I cannot be held responsible for anything that I type as the hour approaches midnight If anyone new joins us, make sure to go to room 2 on this website's chat rooms.

Russ had the idea of making the list I'm putting together of everyones names and cabin numbers available before the cruise. I guess my TA felt bad because of Delta changing our flight home because she called today to say that they are going to honor the $300.00 shipboard credit. YEAHH! Balances out for the extra night we have to pay for Disney!
