Yes we will be there I'm so excited that I wake up every night and can't fall back to sleep. I don't know why Does Conor have a pirate costume ? I can't find one for Anthony. He wants to be dress as Jack Sparrow

No, he doesn't have a costume yet. I kept meaning to ask him and kept forgetting. John and I are in Palos that night so we aren't dressing. You reminded me, so I asked him. Guess what? He too wants to be Captain Jack. Guess what I'll be doing the next few days??? Hunting down a costume!!

I have a few done. I believe in the KISS philosophy--mine are simple! But, like you said, I had fun putting them together.

I also have a door sign surprise for each of you--a little pixie dust and something to look forward to at the DIS meet.

Hi everyone - Two Weeks and we will be in Key West!! Took DD and DS to see the High School Musical play that was being put on by the local Children's Theatre . . . amazing is all I can say!!! Can't believe it, but we enjoyed it more than we did the movie!!

Now it is 9:30 and the two of them are driving me crazy as they yell back and forth at each other in bed . . . .

I know someone posted this already, but I can't find it . . . who else is staying at the Radisson at the port?

Ann - have Alexia send a PM to Kathryn at my address . . . Kathryn would like to get to know some of the girls before getting on the ship. She was concerned earlier that they wouldn't be able to be together in the labs because of how DCL seperates the age groups, but since we are doing things outside of the labs, now she things it is ok? who knows how the brain of a tweens works!

I still need to do something for the doors . . . Just can't get into it! To much going on . . . Why does everything have to fall into the same two weeks. Just found out that we have teacher conferences for both kids, registration for Middle School, and hair cut for myself, all scheduled on the same night . . . Something is going to have to give. . .

Look on ebay -- That is where we bought all our costumes recently. It was quite a bit cheaper and they are pretty good quality.

We might be coming in now on Thursday night. My DH wants to try to go to a park on Friday and there is a red eye available on Thursday night. We will be making a decision hopefully by tomorrow night. There is my daughter Alexia, she's 8 and our son Anthony is 11 just like your son. From what I saw on the list your stateroom (8016) is near ours (8010).

Can you send an e-mail message to me at swalsh4@gmail.com? My daughter Madison is shy and it would be nice for her to talk to someone before the cruise. My son Spencer on the other hand always has no problems making lots of friends on the cruises we have been on.

We might be coming in now on Thursday night. My DH wants to try to go to a park on Friday and there is a red eye available on Thursday night. We will be making a decision hopefully by tomorrow night. Here's a link to the DIS information about ground transfers. We're doing Disney transfers. They cost a bit more but to me they are worth it. Simply no hassles at all. Our luggage will be picked up from our room at the Hyatt and I don't have to think about it again until it shows up in our stateroom. No hassling with it at the port. You may have noticed a trend--I like hassle free vacations!!

Don't stress about the conferences and registration. It's just your kids' education. Now, your haircut on the other hand. That is important for this upcoming trip, so something that should definitely take priority!!!

I finally found a Jack Sparrow costume for Anthony at www.buycostumes.com. I paid a lot for it $38.99 plus tax and shipping . I took it one size bigger so he could wear it next Halloween (or maybe we will book another cruise in the near future so he could wear it again ).

Checked with DCL today for the current Magic movie listings.

I finally found a Jack Sparrow costume for Anthony at www.buycostumes.com. I paid a lot for it $38.99 plus tax and shipping . I took it one size bigger so he could wear it next Halloween (or maybe we will book another cruise in the near future so he could wear it again ).

I found one for Conor too at www.costumesupercenter.com. Wasn't a $14.99 special either. (Those all seemed to be smaller boy sizes.) Plus he just had to have the hat with the braids and beads!! Unfortunately, they don't ship to Canada. Fortunately, my husband is in the States this week so I had them express ship it to him there!! I did what you did and bought a size up. We better make sure we rebook while onboard so we're sure to get the discount and onboard credit!

We decided to make plans last minute so booked our first cruise...ever. Didn't get a good room but it will be a getaway for us and our son (8) and daughter (5). I'm usually an obsessive planner so I've already have scoured the Disney travel books and websites in the short time since deciding to do this. It seems like the perfect last minute plan...very little to worry about as far as reservations. We can survive without the major excursions.

My big fear is seasickness. It's why we've never been on a cruise before. I read that the waters can be rough around Castaway Cay...more often in Jan & Feb. Does that mean rough seas in general for some of the trip?

I'm thinking daily dose of Bonine and bringing the patch. My DH is physician so we'll see if he'll support my idea of preventative medicine vs reactive treatment.

Any advice?

Welcome Mark and Darlene! My DH and I were also on the same Magic trip as you last year. We are hoping that the weather will be better the second time around. Thanks for the info. I know that last year they added several other movies because of the weather. We saw Eight Below three times!

My DB in MI still hasn't gotten his as of today but UPS runs until about 7;00 so he is still hoping.

Welcome! My BF and I were just shopping on Saturday and discussing what movies would be playing. Thanks for the list. We were also trying to guess what will be the new release just after midnight on the 16th. I was hoping for GhostRider, but it looks like a Disney film called Bridge to Terabithia will be released. It looks pretty good from the previews. My "kids" (19, 20, & 21) all went to the midnight show in their pajamas last time.

I was able to reschedule the hair appointment!!! Good excuse to get out of work 1 hour early on Wednesday . . . . then get home to finish packing. Already told DH that everyone is on their own Thursday night before we leave. Everything has to be done prior to then cause I am getting a manicure and pedicure no matter what.

Still none here . . . Just sent off an email to the TA - he said he received my inlaws stuff today, and it hoping for ours tomorrow . . . He indicated that those of you who have received them already, must have booked directly through DCL. . . those with TA usually take longer . . . what a pain . . .
