Well today is the day I PROMISED myself that I would get all the laundry that has been accumulating done. It seems I have been a little preoccupied with something else. It's sorted into piles all down the hallway!! I figured I'd use this weekend to get caught up on that and next weekend to pack.YAY!!! FINALLY got the little one's passport!! Was starting to sweat. (His expired in just three years - caught me by surprise in Dec)phew.

No docs here yet. ofcourse my TA isn't the most on top of things. I'll give her a call on Monday. Happy Saturday eveyone. Two weeks from right now we should all be on that ship!!

I thought I bookmarked the page and now I can't find it. There is a live webcam at the port and at 4:30/5 you can see her sail away. Also one of the hotels on the beach has a cam too and you can see the ship 20 minutes later... I'll have a look - there was a post a couple of weeks ago. If I miss it again today there will only be one more chance yet... until the real thing ofcourse

We are still waiting also . . . but we booked through a TA, so my understanding is that they will get them, then get them in the mail and over night them to us. . . . I'm hoping for them on Monday!

We booked directly with DCL. I wonder too if they didn't send ours a bit early because they had to go over the border?!

I'm loading up the mps3 with video . . . DS and DD received a 4 GB one that I can get 4-5 DVD's onto and it has a little 2.2 in screen that shows videos . . . now I don't have to drag the DVD player with us. DH received something similar, but with more memory and larger screen . . . Only problem, none of them are technical, so I get the job of trying to figure out how to convert the DVDs and transfer them to the device . . . It takes about 1.5 hours to convert . . . .

I won a Ipod Nano in Sept . . . but boy, these are almost nicer . . . .

What audio books are you bringing? I have never downloaded a book . . .? great idea . . .

DB thinks delivery starts down south and moves up. My friend in FL got hers on Thursday and then everyone in our group in NC got ours on Friday. My DB still hadn't gotten his as of today. Any other Northerners gotten theirs?

We got our docs on Friday -- It was ding dong ditch by the UPS driver. My DH thought they were trash and started to throw them away ---We are used to getting much larger and more official looking cruise docs --

I've loaded Citizen Girl by the authors of the Nanny Diaries. I listened to them read that book a couple of years ago and it was a hoot. Nothing heavy, but hilarious. So I thought I'd give this one a try. Depending on how much space I end up with, I'll either load Eat Cake by Jeanne Ray or A Good Year by Peter Mayle.

I'm bringing a few books too...nothing like sitting on one of those comfy deck 4 steamer chairs with a good book and a yummy drink watching the world go by.

We're staying at the Hyatt at the airport. Conor and I arrive on Friday around 1 pm and my mother and husband arrive later that evening.

How about you? Where are you staying? If we could work it out, it would be great for them to hook up. We're renting a car for the day and we're pretty flexible.

We are staying at the Residence Inn by the port. We should be at the hotel by 3:00 depending on driving conditions. Where are you stay?

We are staying at the Hyatt in the airport. Our flight does not arrive until 6 pm as we are coming from Ca. We were thinking about switching to the Residence inn, but I think we're just going to stay with the Hyatt. I don't feel like doing the transfer Friday night. I'm not quite sure how we're getting to the port either -- guess we better decide soon.

There is my daughter Alexia, she's 8 and our son Anthony is 11 just like your son. From what I saw on the list your stateroom (8016) is near ours (8010).

We'll also see you on the bus on Saturday morning if you decide to do the DCL transportation. They collect your bags from your room. You check in with DCL in the lobby of the Hyatt and they pick you up right outside. It couldn't be easier! My kind of vacation!!
