Another day closer!!! Yippie!! I am planning on packing everything today except my formal wear. I dont remember if I told you I had bought 3 dresses to bring home to choose from, well when I got home and opened them up I realized 1 of the dresses was the wrong one! My mother in law was headed out towards the mall Tues so she exchanged it for me. They had charged me for the dress I wanted but handed me the wrong one so there was no price adjustment needed, just exchanging of dresses. I read them the UPC from my recipt so they could pull the correct dress from the rack and have it waiting for my MIL. Well, last night my hubby picked up the dress from my MIL and guess what......still the wrong dress!!!! I am not to happy with Carson's right now. Now I have to go back to the mall (which I might add is about 25 mins away) and exchange it AGAIN!!!!

I have half a mind to return all of them and just go to J.C. Pennys, and get those black ones with the flesh colored underlaying material.......just kidding WeloveDCL!!!

We leave 1 week from today so I am really doing a happy dance! My vacation starts the second, the limo pulls into my driveway to take us to the airport!!!!
lol on the black with flesh tone.. i really wouldn't care if i had the same dress on as someone else.. but, have y'all ever seen those mag articles where 2 stars have on the same dress.. one looks great in it..the other not so much.. i have this horror of being the "one not so much".. :scared1:

There is a wine list on some site...I'll try to find it. I was going to bring my own but figured with the corking fee I would just buy on board (after all I have spent what's another few $$). I know there were bottles around $30-$40, maybe alittle cheaper?? I love trying new wines anyway! DH isn't much of a wine drinker so one bottle will last me a few nights....
I'll try and find the wine list!

FOUND IT!! Go to Menus, Food and Drink at the following website....
http://www.castawayclub.com/

Thanks Jackie! hhmm wonder how many bottles of wine per night you can get with the wine package...

what y'all rich enough to buy wine with corks in it?

there's always the screw off tops..;) or the wine in a box...:woohoo:

Come on weloveDCL if we can afford this cruise we should be able to get a few bottles of wine with corks ...and then maybe throw in a few boxes to....hey, who's that lady with all those wine boxes...oh it's just Tammy:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

I just checked with Disney because we were planning on bringing a few  bottles of wine on board and they charge a $15.00 corking fee for each bottle because they don't allow you to bring corkscrews on board.
AFAIK, you are allowed to bring your corkscrew aboard and also you can get one free from your room steward. All liquids have to be carry-on I believe.

Hey everyone, I thought that you might like to know what came in my doc. By the way they were left at my front door step, I have no idea how long as they looked like the package had been though the wringer.

FYI, I have completed all the possible doc online so I don't know if I would get different ones from you because I checked in online.

Wish the stock Market had waited till I was on vacation to take a dive. Oh My, Hate to give back some profits. When we're on vacation, we go brain dead, no paper, no computer, no news. My DW got me a new computer for Xmas. A dual processor, WOW is it fast. Boots up in like 20 seconds. Took the Magic Marker and changed our cabin #. We're very fortunate, we have a money tree in the back yard. At least that's what my DW tells me. :laundy:

I remember my Dad saying stuff to me as a kid about money growing on trees!! I have never seen one that would be cool!!!

Thanks again! I called disney again and got someone different and she confirmed yes, you can bring a corkscrew on board for use in your stateroom, but there is a $15.00 corking charge if you bring an unopened bottle of wine to dinner...but, I think you can bring an already opened bottle....or wine in a glass.... ...ok why aren't any of these smiles drinking??

Gotta go and get Leah moving...I am going to also stop at the fridge and practice my "happy and laid back skills"

I'll be back later! I really had fun surfing the boards with you all last night! It really had me laughing each time another one of us showed up on the other thread! I thought I would be funny to start a thread tonight titled
"FREE BEER" and see how long it took you all to get there!:rotfl2:
But then I figured I'd be ban from the DIS...and that just wouldn't work for me at this stage of the game!!

Be back!!

We get to see our favorite Jeweler. We have gotten some really great prices over the years. He has some great blue diamonds. Looking for nice earrings. White & Blue mix. Also want to trade in a Tanzinite ring. He's really funny. Takes pictures of us together and has pictures of everything we've purchased over the years. Last trip he gave me a Citizen Eco watch for $120. Priced it in JCPenny's was 520. on sale for 350. plus 10% off for using your charge. I'm packing the money tree in my suitcase.:wizard: :rotfl2:

I am sooooo excited got the cutest black dress for 17.50 at JCPenney today!!! All the mark downs are at 75% off!!
Got the pillow cases for the kids. Got an email from ta today. she just recieved our docs today.
Its a pretty good day!! Make some dinner for the kids, have a Margarita!!!!

Bythe way Joksten I would like to meet the jeweler. Does he sell Mavados also?
I am a watch freak, and Iam ready to expand beyond all Disney watch's!
I know bite my tongue!

I may be naked on the cruise. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I keep buying things for the kids! I go out looking for stuff for me, and I come home with more things for the kids. Now they have 5 times as much stuff as they could ever wear, and I still have nothing! Will anyone mind if I just wear my bathing suit (SCARY!!!) and my pajamas the whole time?!?! Oh yeah, and maybe the same black pants for dinner every night?!?! It's much easier to shop for cute kids than for me at my heaviest ever weight (so much for the pre-cruise diet!!). UGH!!! OK...I'm getting depressed. I'm going to stop fretting and get happy and laid back. It's vacation. It shouldn't be stressing me out! I'm just going to pack what I have; I'm sure it will be fine. Right? Someone? A little reassurance here!! :grouphug:

See you all in 9 days - don't laugh if I'm in my pj's when we meet at the Mickey statue!! :lmao:

Quenby, I am right with you! I started my pre-cruise diet in October....and I have gained 7 lbs!! (no, I'm not kidding!) I was stressing over it and decided...THIS IS MY CRUISE AND I'M NOT GOING TO WORRY ABOUT IT!
I went out and bought a few of "the dreaded next size" shorts and capris and I'm going to be HAPPY AND LAID BACK!! (and comfortable to boot)!
I'm turning 40 dam....darnit!! I'm goin out in chunky style!!:lmao:

Come on weloveDCL if we can afford this cruise we should be able to get a few bottles of wine with corks ...and then maybe throw in a few boxes to....hey, who's that lady with all those wine boxes...oh it's just Tammy:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:
fine big spender.. lol i don't think they do body cavity searches.. i really don't know how they can determine if a corkscrew is in your checked baggage..i'd read the same thing that gmark had read.. but, then it was posted that you can indeed bring cork screws.. or get one from your room steward... methinks $$$ talks.. ;)
