Mickey Fanatic - my daughter will be three as well when we sail (turns three in December) - maybe they can hang out Welcome!

Sounds like a plan to me. As the cruise gets closer we can start to talk to them about their new friend. Then when the cruise arrives they will have some familiarity with each other. We'll have to brainstorm on this one. Another possibility is to send e-mail with a picture so they kind of get acquainted?

It will be so neat to have someone close in age that she can buddy around with. Her twin cousins are going but they will be five that February. They probably won't want to do much with their baby cousin.

Nice to meet you and looking forward to meeting you and your daughter on the cruise!

Hi Cheryl - Decided to move after considering your idea about the teen center but after checking prices I saw a drop so I decided to ungrade to a cat 8 like $75. so we are in cabin 7512 on both cruises, I did remember. Seems like a million years away. Thank goodness we have April 15th to look forward to in the mean time

Just checked my reservations and my cabin number is 6074. It's a category 6 cabin - midship. Not sure how close that is to anyone else's?

DH, DD & I all need this vacation desperately. DH and I have not been on vacation since DD was born.

I don't envy you being right next door to me. I'm early to bed early to rise. Thank Neptune for the coffee station on Deck 9. I can tell you the coffee is hot at 5am. My DW sleeps in till 7am. So if anyone is up & about at that time, they will find me there. I hate to do this but tomorrow morning we fly out of here for our cruise So very needed. Already has been a year to forget. Hopefully it can only get better.

John, I'm actually glad to here you are early to bed and early to rise. Then hopefully my girls (will be 4 and 20 months) won't bother you (they are pretty good but in the AM full of energy), since we are usually asleep by 8:30 pm and up by 6 am. Have a great trip, boy am I jealous!

HELLO ALL! I booked our cruise finally 3 weeks ago! I will be celebrating the big 40 on Feb. 7th with DH, DD 8 and DS 8!
Anyone have experience on a Feb cruise??
What can I expect of the weather??

Okay, it is me again! I just read through all the postings (yes, I should be doing laundry and cleaning...but I think I have found my newest addiction!

Alittle more info about us! This is our first Disney Cruise! (the kids first ever cruise!!) We are currently in cabin 2032 (labeled as a noisy room...I am nervous!!)
I see there are a lot of you from S. Jersey! DH from Tuckerton! I am a Philly transplant but lived in Barnegat for a few years! (Go Pineys!!)

A few questions for you experienced DCL cruisers!!
~Do you have to sign the kids up for the Oceaners Lab activities ahead of time or just drop them off??
~What is the wine package (love my Merlot!!)?
~What kind of deals do you get when you re book on the ship?

I think that is it for now! I love the bracelet idea from a few pages back!
I am sure I will be checking in often!

Is that 40th Anniversary or a Birthday? My first thought was gee there kind of old to have young kids. So I guess it's a birthday. They are doing the braclets on our 4/15 cruise and I thought it was a great idea. The discount is 10% and a $200 on board credit. Don't drink, and my DS & DDIL handle the kids I'm pretty sure you sign them up once on board. Disney is pretty good about keeping an eye on the # of kids on board, don't want anyone to miss out on the fun. I never believe the noise reports. I've been in what was listed as noisey and had no problems. Maybe I sleep sounder. Paulsboro is across the river from the airport.

Hey Jackie! We are originally from MA but moved to FL last year after having enough of the snow!

This is our first Disney cruise but when on an NCL cruise to St. Thomas in January and we thought the weather was great. But I have read alot on this boards that you can't predict it. Some say its freezing, while others say its great.

I'm sure no matter what we will all have a great time!

You don't need to sign the kids up for specific activities with the Lab and Club. You just need to register them (either at the 75 day mark or when you board the ship) for the Lab or Club overall. After that, then you just sign the kids in and out as you and they please.

Not sure about the wine package as we haven't purchased one.

The deal we got when re-booking was a 10% or 20% discount plus a $200 stateroom credit. We were able to transfer our ressie to Costco (before the DCL pricing change) and got an additional discount.
