Thursday we take our DD to the specialist with the new xray's and MRI's and see how things have progressed. It's been a long 2 months, good thing she has a state job. Like all things in life, with time things change, useless to worry about a passing thing. It's a shame it takes a life time to realize this. I can remember thinking in the past how life changing an event was, now looking back it was really nothing much, now I just go with the flow knowing everything that happens does pass, the sun always manages to rise the next day, nothing you do can change that.

Ah, well in the mean time just 23 days till our cruise. MandM22 where in sj are you from?

Originally I'm from Mt. laurel, but we live in Lumberton now. Some consider us Central Jersey. I just think of everything below Trenton as South and everything above as North.

Hello Everyone,

So glad to have found this thread! We just booked last week - it will be DH, DD (who will be 3) and DS (who will be 23 months). I found this forum last year before our first family trip to WDW and have decided nobody knows family like Disney DH isn't what you'd call a Disney fan, but he was more than impressed with our vacation last year that I managed to convince him to go cruising - something he vowed never to do. I've been on two cruises, the first was 1999 - RCCL - amazing time. The second was with Sunquest vacations on the Sunbird in 2001 - actually an old RCCL ship - it was a "bargain" ship and I learned my lesson there. I am really hoping that Disney lives up to it's reputation - I know I'll love it, but I want to make sure DH had a great time as I'd love to make this an annual event

I'm sure I'll have a thousand questions for you veteran cruisers - and I look forward to meeting you on the ship.

My first few questions - I'll ask here first to see if one of you guys can help me.

Should I be booking Palo reservations now or on the ship?

Can I request the restaurant rotation order?

We're a family of four - they didn't ask if we'd like to sit with anyone or by ourselves (they asked on my previous two cruises) - do you know how it works on Disney?

When I booked (through vacationstogo - btw, we paid $1058 USD per adult for a cat 11 room - the kids were less...altogether for the two adults and two under 3 it was just over $2900 for the cruise/port/taxes - is this comparable...it's 100% fully refundable until 90 days pre-cruise so if there are better deals out there I'd love to hear them)

Okay that's it for now...going to start reading some of the threads!

DD can take the hard neck brace off and wear a soft rubber neck collar. Still wants to have another x-ray and MRI next month. So glad she's out of the body/neck brace. Now she can wear clothes

We are waiting for date confirmation from friends of ours from Canada and if it's a go we will book. Has anyone mentioned we'll be on the Magic for the Super Bowl? We were on it two years ago and they really do things up right for the game!!! We'll let you know as soon as we
confirm the dates.

This is my second cruise but my first Disney Cruise. My family would say that I'm obsessed with planning and learning all there is about the cruise. It's just my way of planning!

But I'm glad to see there are others who are looking forward to the cruise as much as I am.

I can't wait for February to get here. It's the most exiting thing to happen since DD was born (she will be three this July - three and a half when we sail!)

WE'LL BE CELEBRATING OUR 36TH on the 2/10 cruise. We'll look forward to meeting them on the 2/03 cruise. Disney Cruise is very special. We're leaving this Friday for the Easter cruise

Hi Cathy!

You bet we'll meet up during the cruise. On our last one, we had a couple scheduled meets, plus a bunch of impromptu gatherings. We were always running into other DISers while we were out and about. We also had planned excursions together.

Our last group took a while to get the chatter going, but by the 3-4 month mark, we were on our way . . .

HEY CATHY!!! So nice to meet you!!! DH & I will be one deck above you on DECK 7!!! DH & I would definitely like to meet everyone from DIS!! We met some wonderful people on my cruise in Feb but it was DCL that put us together! We all met the FIRST night at DINNER and the rest of the cruise we spent allot time between excursions, CC and the nightclubs! Two of the couples, one Chicago and the other Montana, we email all the time. They sent me a reminder email yesterday about the EE DISNEY special last night on the Travel Channel.

WELCOME!!! !!! We will be quite abit as the months, weeks and days lead up to OUR CRUISE!!!
