DH and I are planning our 5th trip back to the world, and are trying to decide when the best time is to go. We get our vacation time on Feb. 1st so anytime in Feb. or March is good. I just don't know with school vacations, etc. when would be best to book. I know kids around here no longer get Feb. breaks, but I'm sure most school's probably still do. Any input/advice would be much appreciated. :cool1:

Generally Feb anytime is a great time to go...March brings spring breakers from all over....IN the SOUTH Spring Breaks are in March-April if that helps..DJ

Check out Touringplans.com (sorry I have no idea how to do a link). They predict some heavy crowds in Feb. Many schools in New England are off the week of President's Day.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

You'll be almost by yourselves in February up until President's Day. As posted previously March has Spring Break all over it.

spring break next year will began on Feb 17 - and should be also ended April 14, 2007

there are some schools in Fl (and I guess other states) that have spring break until May.

here if Florida spring break for last year - I don't know why it has been updated - it past due.

Thanks for all the great info guys, think we'll def. book early Feb :cool1:

Not sure if you would be interested DanceRC28, but the Pirate & Princess Party will be running from Jan 22nd-March 8th.

My cousin and I will be camping at Ft. Wilderness from Feb. 1st-4th. I'm trying to see how many folks we can meet up with. Maybe even have a Disboard Meet.

Ok I'm probably going to sound stupid, but what is the pirate and princess party? :confused3

My sister and I took my nephew at the end of Feb beginning of March and we had a great trip. The weather was great only 1 day of rain and the crowds weren't bad at all. I would love to go again at that time of the year. Have a great trip whenever you decide to go.
