We usually make it to WDW over the President's weekend holiday. It's crowded but still doable for us. We are going the week before --Feb. 7-13, 2005--this time. I am just wondering if there is a big difference in crowds this time of year. Would love to hear anything about early Feb. Thanks.:wave2:

We are going that week as well, as we have 3 of past 4 years-crowds should be very maneafable. Last year we deviated from our norm and lapsed through Presidents weekend-crowds were horrible.

We are going 2/1-2/12/05. The week before will be MUCH LESS CROWDED than President's Week. Many adults get long weekends and many kids are out of school during that week and, of course, they all head to WDW, right?

We have always tried to go during slower times Sept/Oct - Jan/Feb - and once over Memorial Day. That wasn't TOO bad, but then it was way back in 1988!!!

I know the hours are shorter, but the weather is not horribly hot and the lines are minimal - especially first thing in the morning - so it is definately worth it. Enjoy and wave if you see us!

I was wondering the same thing also. We usually go the last week of April / 1st week of May. We found the crowds this year, heavy. My daughter's band and show choir will be there 2/10- 2/15. There will be aleast 115 kids going and I know alot of parents are going down to make it their family vacation. I hope the crowds are managable!:)

We're going from Feb 6-18. From what I've learned, the crowds are relatively low up until you get to Pres. Day weekend, and then they go WAY up. The Unofficial Guide has a great chart predicting the crowd levels on a scale of 1-10, you should check it out! :)

See ya there!

We are going Feb 9-19 and hope its still low season. We usually go mid Jan and its great. Low crowds, not too hot, shorter park hours but that works for us. Parks all day until 6 or 7, then supper and then relax on the balcony or hot tub and plan the next day, lol. Love it

We went early Feb last year and it was great! Crowds didn't really start to increase until right before Pres Day weekend (Friday we noticed a big increase).

T&B

We will be there Feb.4-9.Mardi Gras holiday for the kids. This year the super bowl is in Jacksonville Fl.Feb.6.I hope it don't afect the crowds at Disney. Now i'm waiting for this Wed. so i can try and get ps at Akershus.Wish me luck.Surprising my girls.:jester:

Every year we go to DW the week before President's Day because DH attends a conference being held near Disney. From at least 10 years of experience, I can tell you that the crowds will be very to moderately low the Mon-Thurs before Pres. Day. For the most part, there will be no lines or very short waits for all the major attractions. On Thursday afternoon things will begin to pick up and by Friday, the lines will average 20-60 minutes depending on the ride. From Saturday on, it is CROWDED!!
We have been in the parks when there were cheerleading groups, choral groups, and various other school groups attending events at Disney. We have never felt that they have an impact on the crowds during the first part of the week.

When exactly is "Presidents Week"? For us in Chicago, our kids are off Feb 11-14. Just wondering?:scratchin
