Feb. 7, 2008 3 night wonder...Anyone???

Thankyou, we are glad we have got them too, although slightly worried about what we might miss - although I am hoping you can put our mind at rest about that . . .

You may have already seen this....I found this link in another thread. It is a sample of the Navigators from a previous 3 night cruise. You receive one of these each morning telling of the activities for the day. While the activities may change up some, the basics appear pretty similar to both the cruises we did....although the shows change periodically.

This indicates there are two shows - one at 6:15 (for late diners) and one at 8:30 (for main dining) so you can see the show regardless of when your reservation is.

This gives you an idea of some of the things you can do. There is a lot!

Thankyou for that. I have been looking at the navigators that people have been posted and will keep up to date with any new ones that are posted as we get closer.

We got our passporters book yesterday . . .

Oh and are also having dancing lessons between now and when we go to the US as I have two left feet and want to dance with DG.

Well I got through my first ever dance lesson without a broken leg so not al bad I guess!!!!!!

Great job! I would LOVE to do dancing lessons - but that is not up DH's alley....the best I can hope for is getting him to watch Dancing with the Stars with me - and now that is over for the season so all is lost!

We will keep an eye out for two pros cutting the rug on the ship!

Not sure about that - we started with the hardest thing on the planet - Tango . . . Apparently we started the lessons on the worst week ever!!! Although we did do a bit of a Cha-Cha . . .

So who else will be up there dancing with us!?!?!?

Also can people tell us what the sail away party is like???

Sail away party is alot of fun! If you want to be in the fun, dancing and all of that be on deck 9, midship, if not be on deck 10 midship to watch the fun, you cans still hear and dance, but its not quite as crazy,a nd then you can get some good pics as the ship pulls out of port.
All the characters are there, and they have alot of music and dancing, my girls adore the sail away party and pirates night!

Why oh why can't it be February yet. It is a balmy 20 degrees and we are just finishing up with aroung 7 inches of snow. Perfect for christmas but it sure makes me want to go to castaway cay even more

Have to say we can not agree more with your statement!!!
Now less than 2 months until we come to Florida!!!!!

All the family are getting a bit jealous, although as we can not stop talking about it I guess that does not help!!!

Everyone getting ready for Christmas, or jsut have beginning of February on your mind?!!! lol

We decorated this weekend....tree is up on an end table...not taking any chances with Miss Ava...she thinks the ornaments are "balls" that she can throw and bounce!! lol
Funny thing, the first ornament she grabbed was the big golden Mickey head ornament!! She is 17 mths old and spots Mickey everywhere!! She even recognizes the DVC logo!! lol

I am off to WDW in 10 days just for a quick 3 day shopping trip....yes I AM on a budget...lol! Will do Epcot and thats it!

Love to dance! DH doesnt...but gives it a go! lol Although its been quite some time since I danced publicly!! lol We are big Dancing with the Stars fans!!

Well sorry to say (for you rather than us!) we have done all our shopping!!!! Just got to wrap it all up and that will not be high on my list of priorities - thats for DG to do me thinks . . .
Been planning some bits and pieces for the cruise, have booked our excursions and meals etc.
When do we get allocated a room number??
Also now just hunting for Disney pin traders I can hook up with whilst on board!!!

Hey, I just started pin trading!! Hoping to get some neat Christmas ones next week while there!
I just looked at your ticker..!! How exciting...knowing that pertains to me as well!!

We were able to select a room when we booked...there is a place on this site that has stateroom reports....from other folks who have stayed already...perhaps give it a look and call DCL and request it!! Just look for your category etc...thats what I did! Alot of times certain catergories will be on more than one deck....hope that helps!!

Will start shopping this weekend...and cant wait to Christmas shop at WDW next week First time there solo!!! Just 2 nights....Actually meeting some other Dis folks for dinner at Le Cellier at Epcot after the DVC Merry Mixer.
Our first snow here in the Chicago area.....very pretty....as long as it stays away on the 13th!!!

Sounds like a fair trade to me!! I have just got a Disney 10 year service pin. One of the one's awarded after staff have spent 10 yrs working for them - well excited about that!!!

We have no room and on our reservation paperwork it just says Guarantee. . .
Apparently as its out of high season sometimes they upgrade the lower categories to make room for late bookings who want a late cruise on the cheap???

My Pirate outfit just turned up!!!!! But the special pins sound look a good idea to me!
