Hi! I have been waiting for a response from someone!!!! I sure hope that you guys do the 3 night in Feb...There are 10 of us on the 3 night, and then just my boyfriend and I on the 4 night. The kids are going home with grandma and grandpa!!! I'm so excited, I cant wait!!! Where in Lockport are you? We are in Willow Springs!

Well, I called MS (using DVC pts) and there is availability...we are just playing around with our pts cause we have a trip in June at SSR.....we will probably make our decision within the next 2 days.
Either a Cat 10 w/connecting rooms or Cat 11 w/ side by side rooms on Deck 6....I am a first timer!!!! We would love a verandah..but the points!! Next time....we still have to get passports for 5!! Mine expired and I have 3 kids! DS14, DD10 and DD1 !!! :)
I am so excited at the thought!! DH just likes to look at everything on a spread sheet....cost analysis...his career gets in the way!!! lol
Wow..B2B cruises.....how awesome...!!! What a great grandma and grandpa!!!!
We will be in WDW in Dec as well, but the 2nd week. My DD10 said she would give up AKV for all of us to cruise!!!
Will keep you posted!!
We live in Downtown Lockport...the Historic area if you will.....lol...near St Dennis..and all the great construction for I 355..

Am familiar with your area....had family that lived there, and then moved to Downers Grove.
THis is the lonliest thread..lol...no one will be on this ship!! lol At least from the DIS!

We are doing the Land/Sea package and will be on the Feb 7 Wonder cruise. This is our third cruise (all DCL 3 nights). Can't wait!

Hi!!

There are other Feb 7th cruisers!!1 Yay!!

Are you doing AK before or after your cruise? We will be there 1 night after the cruise!
THis is our first and we are so excited...not knowing what to expect, etc!!
I have a DS 14 and he is looking forward to the teen club..

So, can I ask you...did you stay onboard or venture out to Nassau? Lots of folks seem to stay onboard ...Unless we were going to do Atlantis, we are not, I want to enjoy the ship!!

We are actually coming in the Sat before - staying 5 nights at AKL - that will be our first time for AKL and we are excited about that.

On our first cruise, we got off in Nassau. We did not venture very far or do an excursion, and were not overly impressed - I'm told that if you get away from the port area it is nice but what we saw was not our scene. We visited Atlantis but did not do anything but take a quick look around - looked awesome if you were going to stay there but I'm not sure what there is to do during the day (never really looked into it). Around the port was mostly shopping/market area.

Our second cruise we stayed onboard and did the spa - we will probably do that again. The only downer on the second cruise was the weather did not allow us to dock at Casataway Cay (which we absolutely LOVED our first cruise). So choosing to stay on board in Nassau meant we were on the ship the entire time (still not too bad of a gig!) I liked staying onboard at Nassau because most people get off and the ship is a lot less crowded.

My son just turned 13 -I'm not sure if he is going to do the teen club or not. He absolutely LOVED the oceaneer's lab and I'm told he should be able to stay with the 12yo group if he chooses - he can still check himself in and out and loves that. He hasn't decided yet, but he's not terribly social and is a bit intimidated by the teen club with older kids. By February he may change his mind though.

Our last cruise was the first time my daughter could do the oceanners club and she really liked it - she would have us paged to come get her (a power trip thing:) ) and then would want to go back within the hour. By the end of the cruise it was hard to pull her out. She will be 6 for the Feb cruise and I think she will be glued to it - she IS terribly social and loves to meet new friends.

Castaway Cay is absolutely awesome. The kids can stay with the club/lab while on the island. We may consider doing an excursion this time (we didn't on the first and planned for the second but that, of course, was cancelled). The ones we want to do would not allow DD so I will have to make sure she is okay staying with the club - which I think she will be.

Do you have any other children?

oh yes! DD10 and DD1...DD1 is already spoiled! Her first trip to WDW was over Labor Day..and now a cruise:)
DD10 is kind of on the quiet side as well...DD1..forget it....(she will be 19 mths at cruise) is soo sociable she gives hugs and kisses to everyone:)

I think they should have great CM's in the teen club..to get kids to do activities together, etc...

We are considering just staying on the ship for Nassau...maybe venture out for an hour, and come back.
Just hoping for good weather..I think it can be hit or miss!
