Feb 6 2010 7 Night Western

We are on early dining, so if all goes well with the safety drill and sail-away, we would love to meet up on Deck 10! I'm not going to stress about how we are dressed for that first night, since I've heard some people don't even have their bags by then so it's not a huge deal. But we'll probably want to leave ourselves a few minutes to run back to our room to freshen up... can't wait to meet everyone!

A little about us... we both grew up in New England (MA & CT) and met in college, have been married for 15 years. Hubby was active duty Marines and is now in the reserves and working a corporate job. I've been a stay-at-home mom since we had our first daughter in '98, and I love it. Life keeps us busy -- the kids are all involved in activities, we love to do fun things as a family and also with friends, and this year we finally got season tickets to the New England Patriots! We are also big Red Sox and UConn Husky fans. Never a dull moment around here... We also have a siberian husky who will be 15 in May -- she has some health issues, but is doing very well for her age. We lost our other dog last March, one month shy of 15... So that's us in a nutshell!

You can always spot our family if you see our little redhead...

So sorry to hear this Shauna, I have been through this myself and it's not easy...

Its hard to go thru and some days I take it better than others. I am surprised how well I am handling it though. I had my one whole day that I let myself fall apart and after that each day got better. The other night was hard because I came across the pregancy tests that I had taken at first when It said positive...but Im trying to move on. Its hard thing to go thru and it makes me appreciate healthy and happy pregnancies even more Im praying that things work out for us and we can welcome a second child into our family sometime in the near future...but it makes me feel better knowing that others are out there that have been thru the same thing and know how I feel.

Wally And Jamie...you two are hilarious, can you guys be the entertainers for our cruise ship? Well I dont think I have to ask...seems like you two are already entertaining us all here

I bought all my stuff from Oreintal Trading, too. I received it last week. I am pretty excited about doing it. They are are just small things, but each item I tried to attach with the theme for the day - Superbowl/football, Sea Day/Fish, Port Days/Flip Flop items (because I did not like the fiesta items and other things I looked at), Pirate Day-Night/Pirate items, and for Friday, even though not Valentine's Day, I made that my theme anyway

I have started getting my clothes together and in the spare room all folded ready to go into the suitcase, but not Tristan's yet. Maybe next weekend.

Will meet everyone on Deck 10 midship after Sail Away Party. We also have first seating for dinner and will have to get to the room to get changed before, but I am sure we'll have a few minutes to say hi.

I still need to find something to hang from the fish. I do not have an actual FE and really do not have time to go find someone it make us one and send it to us. I'll have something there. The way you are talking, I am not sure all my gifts will fit into "little" pockets. Like I previously said, I only did this during the holidays and it was stockings, so they held everything.

I cannot wait to meet you all, see you in less than 3 weeks.

Yea I was trying to get final FE count as well so that I can get them all packed to go as well. I have my stuff packed for the week at my parents house...just have to pack the cruise stuff into the large duffle bag. I have it all layed out in a laundry basket, just have to load it all in. I might do that tomorrow

Well Im TIRED we took Chris (my son who is 4) to the circus today...it was fun but I am exhausted. I didnt sleep well last night Maybe i will be so tired that I will sleep great tonight

We (you guys and us guys) have been booked for A LONG, LONG time, so we have had to wait longer than a lot of the rest of us so we are also more than ready to go. I actually cannot believe it is almost here and I am so afraid I am forgetting something, you know, not an item, but a major part of my whole vacation.

Night before cruise hotel - check
Cruise and all excursions, reservations, etc. - check
Night off of ship hotel - check
Five nights at WDW Beach Club Villas reservations - check
Night before flight home hotel - check
Transportation to port - to WDW - check
WDW tickets - check
Reservations for dinner each night at WDW - check
Passport ID's received - check

I just feel like I am missing something. But, when I see my "check" list, it seems to be all there. I have a place to sleep each night, which I'd have to say it likely the most important thing

Hey everyone....I went to disney today to get my nephew and his kids into the park...while I was there did a bit of shopping and found a cute princess dress for lil Avani for dinner one night....

also got a new camera today that I need to become familiar with....
