It's 10:42pm. Just got home from a Saturday that started at the office for an all day scholarship interview event for freshmen honors student at my university. Upperclassmen invited me to supper and then Laser Tag. Feeling pretty old at this point!

Plan to not move off the couch tomorrow, as work from stress hasn't allowed for about 5 hours of sleep a night in the past week & half. I need AT LEAST 8!

Am looking at the countdown and am wondering when the "packing elves" will appear! All clothes are pulled into the guest room; now I just have to decide. Have work responsibilities Mon., Tues., & Wed. nights , so I have no idea when I'll be able to pack, as I leave for BFF's in Indy on Thurs.!

Can't remember when I needed a vacation more than right now. Other than a day at New Years, haven't taken a vacation day since Aug. How stupid is that?!

Weather? At this point I would be happy sleeping in the stateroom most of the day, eating, & going to movies. Anything more than that will be icing. Speaking of... the high temp in Indy today was 19F. Get me outta here!

Looks like I might be giving up 2 of my favorite desserts (creme brulee & grand marnier souffle) in order to watch the Colts in the Super Bowl - pathetic. Still gotta find a Colts shirt on Thurs. Not a football fan, but who can deny Manning, Vinatieri, Saturday, Clark, and all the rest?! Any ideas what a possible setup will be for viewing - Diversions, Aerial View, food, etc.?

Hello friends, Long time no see! Ive finally made it up to Cocoa (got here Friday evening). Today we went to Disney...it was CRAZY!! We decided to go to Magic Kingdom to check it out..well the ferry boats were down so there was a HUGE line just for the monorail to the Magic Kingdom Yea it took us like 30 minutes just to get on the monorail...but once in the park it was pretty good. But very rainy off and on today We only stayed till around 4pm and then headed back to my parents house here in Cocoa. It was neat seeing the Disney cruise-line buses though going back and forth to Disney...My son got REALLY excited and kept asking me when our Cruise was!

Wow thanks for the reminder (sorry I forgot who said it) about putting our names on the gifts so everyone knows who they are from I didn't think about that...I need to go ahead and do that I put on them who they are to, but never occured to me to write who they are from

Wow, Mike I didn't expect to see you in with the boys little quarrel...so now it will have to be a three way separation will it??!?!?

Wow Each day this week brings us a day closer to the cruise! I keep going over the Fish Extender gifts and my luggage stuff to make sure that I have everything that I need...Its going to have to do though since I am not at home anymore LOL So I am sure everything is fine but I always have to check and double check and then recheck....I hate doubting myself Can you guys believe that by this time next weekend we will be out to sea on our way to Key West?!?!?!?! how Awesome is that?!?!

Well off to bed...hope the weather is nice for us on Saturday

I am not putting my name on my gifts, so you will know they are from me, LOL! When I have done it before, we did not get that extravagent, we just went around and out little things in the stockings. I have one for each day, Sun-Fri, so that would just be too much for me at this point. Also, you will be able to tell, kind of, because I did themes for the day, except I thought Pirate night was Thursday and then thought I saw somewhere it is Wednesday, so the gifts for those two days may be mixed up because I got a port theme for Grand Cayman, well, sort of, and it may have ot be given on sea day.

Do any of you know when Pirate night really is?

Anyway, 5 days until I drop off all the animals at their specific babysitters (oh, I am already having anxiety at being away from my girls - Dootie Doo and Weedle Sue - for more than two week) and get to Portland to catch my plane in 6 days!! WOOHOO!!! I just am so flippin' excited that anyone who is around me is in for it. The insurance guy called the other evening and we talked for 30 minutes, not about insurance, LOL! He REALLY wants to go on a Disney cruise and was very interested in the vacation club. I told him I would get him info from the ship, lol! My husband told me to leave him alone and he heard him and he (the insurance guy) said, oh no, I am really interested in this. So, it was all good.

I will leave you all alone now, though, because it could be longer than 30 minutes if I do not!!

I put my FE gifts in a Ziploc baggie with the name of who it is for, their cabin # and it says "From the Moore-Guests" on it too. Sorry, I don't have time get more creative with the packaging. I really don't think the kids will notice anyway!

It's -20 here today. I will be SO happy to ditch this cold for a week!

I just got off the Magic and have an assignement for you and your cruise-mates...to help with a joke.

If you see Daniel (food and beverage officer, picture below) go up and ask him "Are you the handsome Daniel I've heard tell about?" ...or something to that affect, just be sure and refer to him as 'handsome Daniel'. He's also a great guy to talk to so it will be worth your while.

Also, if you haven't made any server requests, call DCL or yout TA now and ask to have Simone from Italy as your head server!

Hope you and Paul have a great cruise...we did!

Just let your server know that if possible you would like them the next night....

I feel so proud, I actually MADE my own FE, to an extent anyway Because this is for our anniversary, which is Valentine's Day, I found this big heart that is some kind of paper board, not cardboard, though, with a red glitter over it. Anyway, hard to explain, but I hot glued a pocket, just one, onto it with a pirate theme - black, red, and white - then hot glued some tiny little black, white, and red mickeys around, and really, it turned out pretty cute. I am not done with it, but so far, even my husband was impressed, and said, "Wow, that really turned out good. I thought it would look like "blank." You see, I am VERY FAR from crafty and he knows how a lot of my "crafts" tunr out I just hope the heart is not too big and does not stick out into the hallway and bash people

I did all this at 3 a.m. this morning, as I just have not been able to sleep. Anyone else having that problem due to excitedment and SOOOO much to do?

I also, got quite a few of my door "decorations" done this morning. I am just jumping out of my skin

Wow, Shannon, I am impressed! I am not crafty either and there is no way I could put an FE together. Can't wait to see it!

We leave here on Thursday so I am a bit that we leave in 3 1/2 days! I am not having trouble sleeping yet, though EVERY night before I go to sleep I am thinking about the cruise, whether I remembered everything, etc.!

I had to chuckle at your insurance conversation. My 7 y.o niece tells EVERYONE who will listen that she is going on a cruise, including random strangers when she is in line at the store! My Dad takes her skating on Tuesdays and said there isn't one person on the ice that doesn't know we're going.
