Welcome Vanessa and Carrie! I'm glad more people are joining us. My husband and I have never cruised before and we are getting excited as the date gets closer. We are bringing our daughters who are 7 and 4.

Is anyone else interested in joining the Fish Extender group?

A Fish Extender group is a group of us from the dis where you exchange little gifts while in the cruise. They are called FE (for short) because they hang from a fish outside your stateroom. I'll also look for a link to add in here in a minute. I poked around on the cruise board to see what others have done in the past and there was a whole long thread with pictures of homemade FE items. Although they do not need to be homemade. It is your choice how you do it. We are doing this as a very open and free group so all can do as they please. Some just do something for the family where as others do something for each child and then the adults or each person separately. I plan on doing something specific for each child and then something together for the adults.

Hopefully each day when you return to your room you'll have something in your fish extender! I think my son will love it and look forward to seeing what has arrived for him or us!

I didn't update it like I was going to around Christmas but just went back through the posts and updated my master list. I am going in a second to find our cabin #. It was on our ressies when i looked to see if we were upgraded.

I also added our stateroom # since I hadn't updated it yet.

If you like you can deliver something each day or once or as many days as you like throughout the cruise. Really, anything is going for this group. I hope to have something for more then one day but I'll have to see how it goes. Closer to our departure I would like to kind of set up a list so each cabin has one scheduled delivery day (which might not always work out) but hopefully will keep us from receiving everything the first couple of day or all on the same day.

We aren't sure if our DD will be in the nursery. My DH is VERY paranoid about leaving our children with strangers. He said we will check out the nursery when we board to see if he feels comfortable enough.

We are staying at AKL-Kidani Village the night prior to the cruise and over the weekend received our Magical Express tags!!! Getting excited!

Hi everyone! We just booked this morning for the Magic on 02/06 and I am going nuts.....I feel like I am sooooo behind on so many things to do, so little time to plan.....Anyhow I am very EXCITED for my kiddos (and me too)....We booked a Cat4. Can someone please direct me where to go on this board to find out info like, booking Palo, what nights are formal night, pirate night, etc...do we need to pre-book the kids club......excursions.....Sorry. I am just a SUPER planner so I could kill my hubby for this one, well maybe not. I think with all your help I could "navigate" through this and have an amazing time.....Thanks in advance......here we gooooo.....

Once Disney has processed your payment, you can register/login to the DCL website, access your reservation and view availability for Palo.

At the top of the main DCL Forum here is a "sticky" titled:
*** DIS DCL FAQ - New Alphabetical Listing of DCL Information ***
This shows you which nights are which theme, links to previous Navigators, etc. Just remember they swapped a couple of days on our cruise: Cozumel is BEFORE Grand Cayman this time.

I think the ability to book Palo online is kaput - it appeared greyed out for me. I think you may still be able to book some ressies once you board. I think most people suggest you do it ASAP when you board the ship.

Ditto to what Gayle said, the FAQ have some awesome info!
