Just wanted to introduce myself! This is my family's 2nd Disney Cruise. We Cruised the Wonder last January on its maiden voyage thru the Panama Canal to Los Angeles. It only took one cruise to get us hooked on Disney.

Man oh man, you guys have been busy today... I thought my life would get less crazy after holiday, well that lasted all of a week. Lol. Yes, we will be dressing up for pirates night. Head to toe with exception of probably pirate boots for me. We should get a group picture that night!!!

Welcome to our newbies!!! We're a tad bit crazy over here... getting to the port, just use Linda's link. Once you get there, there is porters outside who will take your luggage, make sure you have your room number things attached, then you just go in main door. Its so very easy, I promise.

I LOVE the idea of additional meet ups. Perhaps some optional meet-ups for photo ops? Pirate night, formal night, by the pool?

QOTD: Yes, at least three of us will be dressing up for Pirate Night. DD and I pretty much have our costumes. DS wants to dress up, just need to figure it out. DH has a funny shirt and will probably accessorize!

I sent a post applying to join the facebook group. Looking forward to meeting everyone! We will be dressing up for pirate night, we just did on the dream and a guy that passed me in the hallway said "you;re way too into this" It was our halloween costumes so it was easy!

hi, we are from canada too, and traveling with a 3 year old girl, 7 year old boy and 9 year old boy. we are flying in on the 4th and staying at lax, then taking the bus in the morning.

So we will probably see you at the bus in the morning then. I would love for my little guy to have lots of friends to play with. Did you join the facebook group? I sent a request this morning. Looking forward to the meet up

I agree, it would be fun!!! I bought a dress for formal night, but I'm not in love with it, so I took it back. But now I don't know what to wear. I have plenty of dresses, but nothing I'd consider formal... Maybe I should just wear my Snow White dress. Bahahahahahahhaha

Thanks for the warm welcomes! We will probably pass on the FE this year. Our schedule is too hectic to try and get all work caught up and get ready for the cruise. Would love to meet everyone at the get-together. I sent a request for the FB page.

We won't exchange our dollars for pesos. Theyll take American dollars everywhere.

It is true that most will take USD and generally they give you 10 pesos on the dollar. The USD is currently worth 13.2 pesos and my bank exchanges money for free so we will be bringing pesos with us.

How do you plan on spending your time on the ship? Do some of the veteran cruisers have advice for us newbies on things we may not think of doing?

We're planning on doing plenty of eating, pool time, open house at the kid's club, shows, the scavenger hunt, dolphin watching and character hunting

How do you plan on spending your time on the ship? Do some of the veteran cruisers have advice for us newbies on things we may not think of doing?

I'm hoping to get A LOT of time on the deck, soaking up the sun The pool gets SUPER crazy on the days at sea, so I'm planning on enjoying the adult pool area! Works well because my boys LOVE the clubs and want to spend ALL their time there! And on this cruise, with all their new friends? They'll NEVER want to leave!

I am a do-er though, LOVE my trivia, art auctions, cooking demos, wine/champagne tastings, movies , the shows, sitting in some of the quiet bars listening to the music, ice carving demos, towel folding demos, bingo and I've even sat in on some of the kids classes like Flubber and the Ratatouille cooking school!

TOTALLY planning on doing some Hidden Mickeys one day when we're at sea!

In between all of that, I will be eating and drinking A LOT!
