We're all packed...ready to fly out to warmer weather early tomorrow morning...14 days in sunny & warm (I hope) Florida.
We have a noontime tour in Nassau, and are planning catching a early lunch at one of the places that open @ 11...probably just a pizza.

I hope you have a computer with you,or a way to check this thread. We made plans on the other message board to have a meet on for Day 1, Thursday, 3:15 Promenade Lounge. It will be short and sweet. Just before the life boat drill.

Most of us are members on this board and the other, even if you aren't, you are still welcome. Come by and say hello!

P.S. So far, the lines at Disney aren't very long...hoping it stays this way. The weather is sometimes warm...but most of the time it's cool...occasionally COLD...but it's better than New England! LOL

Was wondering who is coordinating an FE group for the cruise(or if you could point me in the right direction) we are first time DIS cruisers and our little ones (DD-6 and DS almost 5) were very excited about this. We are going to make our FE today!

Sandy is coordinating our exchange. I think she was going to email out an updated map for us, since I got an upgrade and she was waiting to hear back about one for herself. We never set up a deadline for joining our FE group however, I know some of us have been making hand made gifts, and have already got their gifts ready to go. I have time to make another gift for you. I'm happy to add you to my FE list, but I'll let the others speak for themselves.

Thanks so much for adding us to the list. We did get the FE made today. The kids are very excited. When I told my daughter that it may be too late she started to cry...I told her not to worry that we would be on the list. We just figured we could put our own surprise gifts in there if need be...This will be much more fun!!

There are 10 cabins, and your family brings us to 11 cabins. I've sent you a PM with my email address. Send me yours and I'll send you the map with cabin numbers that Sandy made.

I'm hoping that the rest of the group will post and let you know if they can add you to their list so you can reassure your DD that she'll get a few treats (and that you won't have to bring them all yourself).

What are the first names of everyone in your group? Some gifts might be personalized, or labeled for each child. ...and your cabin number?

I feel silly now for not noticing that she hadn't posted here! Thank you for explaining that. We just haven't had as much chatter on the other board as we have on this one.

Just finished my no sew version of the FE. It didn't turn out as well as I hoped, but its too late to do anything about it now!!!!!! It will work. I plan to buy one off ebay when we take the kids in a year or 2. There just isn't any cute Disney fabric here in Panama City any way.

Welcome home everyone!

I had a great time on our cruise and loved all the goodies in my FE. The candy helped keep me awake for the drive home - - I was sooo tired. Thanks for everything. I hope you liked the stuff I made.

By the way, I don't know who made the ears and bow for my door "porthole" but I loved them. I didn't even see them at first - too busy looking in the FE and opening the door. I noticed two of my things had been moved and that's when I looked up. I was so surprised and delighted.

Sorry to have popped out when two families were putting stuff in my FE. I felt like I had to start knocking before I left my room - I loved the look on Andrew's face - that was so cute. I'm not sure who the second family was that I surprised but I loved the reaction "you're not supposed to see".

I really enjoyed my time on the ship. I booked the 4 night on Sept. 27th. It's the last one before dry dock is what I was told. It was added after the calendar's for the sailings came out. There isn't even a meet thread for it. Oh well.

Trena and Rob - I can't help but wonder what you two would have answered if you had been picked for "match your mate"! That one couple was hilarious!

Welcome home everyone!

Thanks for all of the FE goodies! We nibbled on the candy for the drive home too. We were so tired. We wanted to see the movie, "Bedtime Stories" but we wouldn't have kept our eyes open. We played hard and stayed up as late as we could stand. I told Rob we could sleep at home for free!

Kristie, I'm glad (now) that we didn't get picked for match your mate! I would have lied if I was couple #2! It was too funny!

We booked dummy dates to bring the kids on their first cruise. We'd like to take them in 2011. I'd love to go sooner, but it will take me at least that long to be able to pay for it!

We had a great time! It was a little cold, but still a blast! Can't wait to go again.

I was so disappointed that it was as cold as it was. I don't think I'll chance it again. We'll go in warmer months from now on. I really wanted to snorkel at Castaway Cay, but it was too cold for me.

Peter said it would be 80 that day....at least 40 in the morning and 40 in the afternoon!
