FEB. 5, 2009 - Wonder - 3-night

Welcome Aboard:

If you can you DO WANT TO BOOK AT PALO... It is a great place to dine and very romantic.

Also, staying aboard when you visit Nassau is a good idea. There is much to do and you can relax with the ship to yourselves.

A disboard meet is a good idea sometimes. We set a location for board members to meet and you can ask any last minute questions you have.

Wendy

Thanks for the advice. I'd really like to eat at Palo. I understand reservations are a little hard to obtain. I'll do my best. Can you get those on-line or does it have to be on the ship?

Bit new to this but I thought that you could book online 75 days out?? For us that would be Nov 22nd, so just a couple of days away ;)

I'm booked for this cruise! Just got it done today. :cloud9:

I booked cat 12 with it saying GTY - so we'll see what happens. This will be my first DCL cruise. I'm going solo with late seating (early seating was full).

Strange thing - when I tried to book at home this morning, it kept telling me the first person in the stateroom had to be an adult. I'm 41, so I don't know how old the computer was wanting me to be - Managed to get it through when I tried right before lunch. Maybe inputting my passport stuff at home confused it.:confused3

DBF, DD and myself will also be on the cruise. We are doing the Sea/Land and will be staying where else but AKL. This is the first time to WDW and cruise for all of us so we are very excited! I will also be celebrating my birthday while on vacation. Dreams do come true!

I was able to book Palo with no trouble. Then I realized, I might miss the show that evening, so I changed my dinner time. Has anyone here booked dinner at Palo?

Welcome aboard! We're glad to have you.

My husband and I are going to be on this cruise, our first one! I was wondering whether anyone can advise if motion sickness has been a problem, and if so, what remedies would be recommended or to have along just in case.

We thought that a 3 day cruise might be the best to try, and Disney always does everything up great!

Also, we were wondering if reserving dinner at Palo's would be recommended. We definitely don't want to miss any of the shows.

Any advice would be appreciated, as we are rookies.

Thanks! :yay:

Welcome to the group. This will be my first cruise too!

Hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and are well on their way to being ready for Christmas.
We have about two months left before the cruise and I can't wait.

Hi! I'm booked on this cruise, too! This will be a solo cruise for me. I am booked in a cat 12, but I would love an upgrade. This will be my 5th DCL voyage. I can't wait to meet everyone in Feb.

Welcome Aboard! This is our first cruise and we are really looking forward to it. :yay:

Welcome aboard, everyone!
We only have a little more than a month to go...WOOOHOOO!!!! :cheer2:

We're going down on Jan. 26th and spending time visiting friends up in Citrus County and then going to Disney on the 29th for some relaxation time before our group starts to arrive on Jan. 31st and Feb 1st.

See you real soon!!!!

My family and I will be going. I have two daughters 8 and 5. This will be our first Disney Cruise (or cruise for that matter)! I can't wait. My 8 year old is a little nervous about the Oceanear Lab. She's afraid she won't make friends. BTW she never has trouble making friends and is very easy to get along with. Any past cruisers have anything I can tell her would be great....Thanks!

We're getting close!

For those of you who are DCL veterans, what do you typically take to put in others fish extenders? We want to stock up!

Are we getting a Fish Extender thing together for this cruise?

My biggest question is how do we know where everyone's cabin is located?:confused3

I signed up to do one with the Passporter Group. They don't have too many just yet. I might be willing to do one with this group as well. Maybe we could combine depending on how many are interested. I've never done one before, so I'm just thinking out loud.

I have a map of the ship in my Passporter that has room numbers. I'm sure there is a map online somewhere.

I see that 2 of you might like a Twilight Treat in a FE!!!!!

(I would too!)

Yes, I love my Twilight!!!!!

I am also signed up with Sandy on the Passporters. I think we should just combine into one. Maybe others who would like to join can go over there and join with her.

I added 2 more today - my friends that are sailing with us want to join in.

If you need help finding it, just message me.

Janet

Hi fellow WONDER cruisers!!!

I have sent several of you a private message about our FE exchange. If you would like to join either follow the link in my message to you or if you are new to this thread.... just click my name "creature teacher" and send me a private message for information.

If you are not quite sure what a fish extender exchange is, follow this link...

I have cruised before and have never taken part in a FE, but it looks like a lot of fun and I am excited about it.

I love Disney cruises, I have done Carnival and they don't even compare!
Well, I hope you ALL take part because I know we are going to have lots of fun.

Janet
