Hi all, new to the Dis, really enjoy all of the tips and strategies here, have not seen a Feb 2020 thread so I will start one.

Just booked a tower room at Coronado Springs, water view, for Feb 4-12th. Really excited to stay in a brand new room as the previous 3 on-site trips have been camping @FW, 2013, All Star Sports 2016 and All Star Movies Dec 2018.

We are looking at an early Feb 2020 trip for my DD's 5th bday. Hoping to book a room at POP soon. Otherwise, we haven't done too much planning yet. I'm basically just reading up on everything because by time we go, it will be 7.5 years since I was last there. Lots of new strategies to learn.

DH and I are making our third trip in 7 years for our 20th anniversary and my 42nd birthday. I can't wait. Already reading everything I can, even though it's been just 2 years since our last trip. Looking to stay again at CBR, February 6-15.

Excited to see this thread! I'm tentatively planning a 20th anniversary trip for DH and I in early 2020. Feb is looking like a good month for us. I'm not seeing bookings available for 2020 yet, how did you book?

You have to call to make a reservation past Dec. 2019. They will charge you the current rates and update it once the 2020 rates come out. That also goes for discounts. We plan to use the Disney Visa discount that is often offered, but it is not currently being offered for that time frame (yet). Oh and it's for a room only reservation, but the CM said it's not a problem to make it a package when they become available or to add a discount when it becomes available.

Aiming for week before Presidents day 2020- planning to call and make my room only reservation tomorrow . Just want to have a room that suits us on the books even though I will be hoping to switch to a discounted reservation later. I am already formulating my ADR and must-dos wish list .

Anyone know of likely promotions this time next year? I can't remember when they typically offer room discounts or Free Dining.

I don't think they ever offer free dining in January or February, but they usually offer the "Play, Stay, and Dine" or the "Gift of Magic" discounts in January and February. With that being said, I don't see them offering any discounts for 2020 since Star Wars is opening Fall 2019.

We went in February 2013 and February 2017, and had discounts for both trips. I can't remember the names of the discounts, but we saved $700 each time (9 day stay, park hopper tix, dining plan). The February 2013 trip was right after the first Fantasy Land additions with the Little Mermaid. I'm hoping there might still be discounts for 2020, but who knows with Star Wars.

We are booked for CBR the week after Super Bowl! Looking at buying tickets during Black Friday sales.

We are looking at getting there Jan 31st and heading out Feb 8th. Can't book until July when the 7 month DVC window opens.

Add us to the list! Feb. 6-12, 3 nights at CBR and 3 nights at Kidani Village. 3 grandparents are coming with us, and it will be the first trip for the oldest and youngest members of our group.

We will be heading back down, our third trip since 2017. We are going to be down there Feb 20-24. We are going to be running the runDisney Princess Half Marathon on the 23rd. Do not have reservation, but will probably be renting points for Beach Club if we can get them.
