FEB 2014 Anyone else going?

Oh my goodness! How funny that you are visiting "Texas Aunt" too! What a small world!! HA! Ok advice, for character meals, we love Goofy's Kitchen the best! Best food and awesome Character interaction! This is the biggest buffet and the PBnJ pizza is not to be missed!! Get there for the first seating if you can and the characters will stop by your table TONS! Goofy even walked our kids hand in hand to our table and danced with them! :lovestruc Our second favorite character breakfast is Minnie and Friends at the Plaza! We just did Minnie's for Breakfast for our now 3 year old's Birthday in October and it was wonderful! Even though it was crowded they all made a huge deal over her and she had an amazing time!! Although the food selection is less here, it is all still really good and their omelet bar is wonderful, lots of fresh veggies! The best part about this place is the Characters! There are always SO many! They come by non-stop if it's busy or not! It's also really nice to schedule first seating here on a day that the park has the magic morning, but you don't have to use yours! You get to get in when the magic morning crowd does since you have a ressie and by the time you are done eating, there usually still is a little bit of time before the rest of the crowds flood into the park, so you get a little head start! I would definitely say YES for BBB!! We have done it for our little girls and they LOVED it so much! What a truly magical experience! I definitely think BBB is better than the disney 365 as far as magic quota goes! So fun! The magic mirror effect at the end is amazing! You can also bring your own dress if you'd like and they will just put it right into the dressing room for you!! As far as celebrating your anniversary, I would HIGHLY recommend taking your kiddos to Pinocchio's Workshop at the Grand Californian!! http://www.mouseplanet.com/akrock/ak010706.htm. It's SUPER fun for kids and then you can have a date night! For your dinner, I cannot recommend enough doing Napa Rose Chef's counter! The hubs and I are foodies and have eaten at some wonderful places, but Napa Rose chef's counter is BY FAR the best place we have ever eaten! It is like dinner AND a show! You get to belly up to the kitchen and watch the masters at work! Andrew Sutton was even there serving us when we went! The food is so, SO incredible! You get four courses and you can pair it with a wine flight if you want too! It took us three hours to get through everything and I will never forget it! One of the most amazing experiences of my life! We were also celebrating my Birthday AND our anniversary and they treated us extra special with dessert and extra goodies to go!! It is truly an experience not to be missed!!

Thanks so much! I am looking forward to not super planning like I do for WDW, but certain things are good to be aware of!
Have a fantastic time and thanks again for the wonderful advice! :)

Has anyone yet to see the "official" park hour times posted for Feb 2014?

Not yet, but beginning of Feb hours should be up very soon...it will take some time still before we see the end though. I think it generally is about 6 weeks in advance that park hours are released. Waiting not so patiently here! hehe I really wish it was more like WDW! They have their hours out MONTHS in advance!!

Ah, that's a bummer about the railroad being closed! That'll encompass our entire trip.

Guess we won't be taking it to get from land to land this time!

We'll be there from the 19th until the 24th. 4 kids 6-1, Grandma in her ECV and me. My kiddos are super excited. The last trip we went on, I left the kids at home (bad mom!) so we came back with souvenirs to insanely jealous kids.

How does Dapper Days affect crowd levels? We changed our dates from spring break to the last week of February to hopefully avoid big crowds.

DD and I will be visiting the parks 6th to 10th Feb...

our first visit in Feb, and DD's first visit ever ( although she's been to TDL multiple times).

The biggest concerns were the rides that will be down and the weather... but I'm sure it'll be fun regardless.

Looking forward to our trip mid-month! What is the weather like in February?

We're thinking of going Feb 6 & 7th and taking mom who hasn't been in almost 10 years! Does anyone know if there's anything going on to make crowds? I'm hoping it'll be nice :-)

We are going feb 14-18 with my friend and her DD we are Disney veterans but they haven't gone in 9 years do will be fun to show them around!

Ack! Pirates will be down while we are there! That so sucks!!!!
Oh well. We are there feb 4-8. Hoping for some decent weather and light crowds!
When is the next dapper day?

The hours are up now on Disneyland.com till the 14th. I can't wait till next week when the hours go up for the days we will be there, Feb. 18 -23!

We will be there! Supposed to go in January but couldn't pass up the dapper day hotel deals!!! We will be at the Disneyland Hotel Feb 16-23 and at grand Californian Feb 23-March 2! First time at GCH!

First day in the parks will be the 17th due to our AP's :)

Hope it's not too busy but if we can make it through summer visits I'm sure this will be fine ;)

We are headed to the GCH 02/08-02/11 and are so excited! I'm dying to try the BBB with my 3 year old DD this time around. I see they now have a Sofia the First package which will thrill her to no end! I'm sad about some of the closures but super stoked about the great rates we received and hopefully the crowds...
