I couldn't find a thread for February. Our dates are Tuesday Feb. 18 - Sunday Feb.23.
Anyone have any idea historically what park hours will be like this week?
Even though we won't be there for the long weekend, is it still really busy the following week and weekend?

I and several other DISers will be there around the weekend of the 23rd for Dapper Day! I don't think you'll find it crowded at all, but the hours will be short and there will likely be more ride closures at that time. I've only been once in Feb and we had a great trip with low crowds. I've gone many times in January (usually the 3rd-4th week) and I always seem to end up with rain sometime during my stay, which I don't really mind as it keeps the crowds down and rarely lasts very long.

I will be there too, Feb 17-23. Probably will not go into the parks on Monday the 17th.

I am hoping the Mardi Gras stuff will be happening at DL with Tiana? As long as Radiator Springs is up and running, I'm good. Also hoping Big Thunder will be open! :goodvibes

The DIS Diva trip is the 26th - Mar 2. There are quite a few of us who are planning to go.

I've been one other February, but it was YEARS ago. The crowds were fantastically low!

We are planning on a trip Feb 16-22nd to take advantage of the dapper day rates and celebrate my daughter's 8th birthday. We are hoping BTMRR is up and running by then.

I'm planning a trip in February, too, but I'm not sure of the dates yet. It will be midweek though. Looking forward to smaller crowds than last time.

We are going to be in Southern California from 2/23 to 3/1. We go to Disney World at least once a year but have only been to Disneyland once.

I booked one night at Paradise Pier and I am trying to decide where we will spend another night (Paradise Pier or switch over Disneyland Hotel). We will probably add 2 more nights at Disneyland (so a total of 3 nights).

We have a condo in Capistrano Beach for the week, but want to stay at Disneyland for at least 2 nights.

Any suggestions for a newbie? I am trying to plan dinners (and see ADRs are not booked until 60 days out unlike 6 months ahead at Disney World). I am waiting to see what the show schedules are for Fantasmic and World of Color. We definitely want to see both & I understand the schedule is limited in February.

I'll be there!! We haven't been since November last year so we definitely have an itch! We'll be there 2/13-2/17, just a short trip this time around.

Can you tell me more about the Dapper Day rates?

The rates are good for the resort hotels between Feb 17-28, which is quite generous!

The rates are as follows:
GCH = $225
DLH = $184
PPH = $169

The only thing you have to do is go through the dapper day website to book the room (www.dapperday.com). There is no conference etc, but there are fun events and of course, dressing up if you want to, but none of that is required.

We booked Dapper Day Weekend at The Grand. Yes, it will be busy and it says 9's and 10's for most days.

The weekend after President's Day was our little secret and traditionally off season/low crowds, but this is no longer the case.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We have booked at the Grand California and I'm so excited.

Where do you see crowd predictions? How does the week after look (midweek 25-28th of Feb)??

Our trip is booked for 2/23-3/1. I have reservations at the GCH (dapper day rates) and the Desert Inn and Suites. DIS is 1/2 the price of GCH and has 2 separate rooms and a (crappy) b-fast. I most likely will go cheap and cancel that GCH rsvp, but $225/night is still making me think. I never thought we would stay at a disney property.

I too am worried about crowds-we went late Sept of 2012 and other than carsland being crazy it was pretty quiet and easy to get on rides. I have fingers crossed end of Feb will be the same.

Thanks for starting a Feb Thread:cool1:

We will be at the parks 2/12 and 2/13! Taking my mom for her first DL visit. Trying to pick a hotel is driving me crazy.

Well we were going to go for my daughters third birthday which is Feb 9. We were going to go from the 8th - 10th and staying at DLR but now I think I might postpone it for these dapper day rates. They are better rates than the Disney's Salute to Armed Forces rates.

We will be there Feb 8-15 (in SoCal)
We will stay in our timeshare and do many things that are not disney. But DL is always the focus of the trip.

After getting robbed on air-fare last Spring Break (second week in March for us) we moved it to a non-traditional time that also corresponded with a week that our boys will have most of the days off from school. It saved me about $1,000 in air fare going this week. That will almost pay for one dinner at Blue Bayou! :)

We are going feb 18-21. We have been going this week for the last 6 years and it seems to get busier each year. Still not busy enough to prevent us from going.
