Feb. 11, 2010 -- 3 Night Wonder

i can't seem to find a thread for this cruise...so i will start one....

my daughter and i will be on our second dcl cruise this trip. first one was sept 2009. this time we are bring my parents. it was their anniversary present (anniversary this week) but we will be celebrating my daughter's 5th birthday on board...

very excited to be back and this time share it with family.

anyone interested in a FE? My daughter really enjoyed it last time.

I was beginning to wonder if anyone else would be on this trip. It will be my family's first Disney Cruise. I will think about joining in on the FE.

We are on this cruise also - celebrating our 30th Anniversary (in January) and our son's 28th bday (during cruise). Also, along are DIL, DGS-4, DGD-2, DD & SIL. This is our first Disney cruise. We are staying at Port Orleans before and Pop Century after. Thinking of doing Happy Limo to and fro.

Glad to see others Disboarders will be on the cruise. This is our 2nd cruise we went this same time last year and had a great time. I don't think we'll do FE but if there is a Disboard meet we would be in. Our group is Me, DW, DS16,DS10.

We are staying at Buena Vista Palace the day prior to the cruise then 2 days at VWL following.

We confirmed yesterday! This was a last minute great deal... very excited to get a short break from reality and join you guys on this cruise. This will my 4th Disney cruise. Also in our group are DS 24 (Birthday cruisin for him... will be 25), DS 15, and DD 11. Looking forward to meeting you all... seems like we have kids in the same age ranges

Not interested in trying to pry in FE's on this short cruise cuz this is our R and R cruise and don't wanna be running all over the ship.... but for sure we will be on deck 9 hanging out!

Anyone have fave hangouts on the ship while our kids are having their own adult free fun? lol

I'm so glad to see there will be some other teenagers! I'm hoping the weather will be warm enough for the adult pool/hot tub! I did a basic search for Bahamas weather in February and I'm hoping for at least uppper 70s...and sun. The water might be chilly but if they have the new play structure hooked up I don't think anybody will mind.

the new play structure at castaway cay was being delivered when we were there in september! that would be awesome if it is open.

Last year the weather was great. Mid 70's but just a week before the weather was about 20 degrees cooler. Hopefully we'll have the same weather as last year.

Is there a Fish Enders thing going on with this one? I know in the past some dissers have hung them up and put small gifts in them.

Also - do we need passports? I have read conflicting things. Hope not because we don't have any. I just thought of it this morning.

We'll be there, but I don't think we'll do FE's this time. It's DH (47), me (40), DS (10) and DD (8).

I'm glad to see so many 10 year olds for the 2/11 Wonder cruise. I'll be there with my 10-year-old twins, boy and girl, while DH is at the Daytona 500. Very much looking forward to our very first cruise.
