It's supposed to be 80 and sunny in Nassau today!

It is nice to be a Castaway Club member... we got upgraded from Cat 4 to Cat 3!!!! Never had concierge... anyone have any tips on this. I have been reading up and called ahead as though the room is larger the beds for sleeping are less with no pull down bed from the ceiling.... and now we are right under Topsiders (or whatever it is called on the wonder) but I am not gonna complain.... just ready for it to be here already

This is our family's first disney cruise we are very excited. Our son will be 11 and our daughter 6, my wife also turns 38 on this cruise. We are new to Disboards, quick question what is a FE??

FE are Fish Extenders. There is a thread on here somewhere. I think if you go to the FAQ thread, there is a link there. The fish extenders are made of fabric and have pockets on them. Dissers put small gifts in the pockets.

I was hoping to participate this year, but doesn't look like anyone is planning on doing it for this cruise.

11 more days to the cruise, been waiting since September, can't wait. we have a quick stop at the Magic Kingdom the day before the cruise.

Sounds great. Wish we could get to a park prior but we don't get in until 7 p.m. We do get a couple days after to go to the parks.

I hear you with the 1 week, we are in countdown mode. I am in South Jersey and we are expecting about 12+ inches of snow this weekend, We are taking the auto train to Florida on Tuesday so we need this snow to get out of here quickly. we are looking forward to better weather on the cruise.

Let's hope we can all get out next week. We fly out Wed so if we are delayed we do have a little extra time.

Does anyone want to try and do a Disboard meet? This is only our 2nd cruise but it would be nice to say hi and have the kids at least know someone prior to leaving port. If people are interested we'll need a time and place. Any suggestions are welcome.

We are stuck in about 2 feet of snow here in South Jersey, spent about 4 hours shoveling this morning. weather in bahamas today is 81 and sunny, GET ME TO THE CRUISE

Wow! Is it done yet? When are you supposed to fly out?

the snow finally ended around 5PM EST. the shoveling is done, we are packed. we aren't flying we are taking the auto train on Tuesday. going to spend a day at the MK on Wednesday before the cruise.

Well, now it's Chicago's turn for a snowstorm. We're supposed to get dumped on tomorrow with high winds. Our flight is for 7:30 am Weds. I just hope Southwest wants to start their planes in Chicago! Can only keep my fingers crossed for now.

Good luck on your flight on Wed. We are also flying Southwest leaving at 12:20 p.m. on Wed. Hopefully the flights will be able to go.

We are not suppose to get any snow on Wed however our flight comes out of Chicago Wed morning so hopefully the flights will get out on time. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
