Is this worth it? I've been to this park once and didn't stay for Fantasmic! It looks like a really spectacular show and I want to see it next month.

Is the VIP ticket worth it? Is the line really bad to watch this?

Want to know before I reserve.

Thanks!

IMHO I don't think it was worth it when I did it on new years day this year. This is one of the busiest times of the year so I figured it might be necessary to do the Fantasmic dinner package to guarantee seats without waiting 2 hours beforehand. I think you could have walked up 15 minutes before and still gotten seats. Yes the dinner package guaranteed center seats but with tip the meal costs around $50 per person at Mama Melroses. It's your call but that is my opinion. I hope that helps!

Hi there!

If you check the prices, you'll see that the difference between eating at (let's say) Hollywood & Vine, and booking the "Fantasmic Dining Package" at Hollywood & Vine is so slight that you may as well go for it, if you can. Which brings me to a question of my own...

My son and I are attending Star Wars Weekend for the first time ever. We arrive in Orlando on 5/25 and leave on 6/1, meaning, Friday 5/30 and Saturday 5/31 are our exclusive Hollywood Studios days. We currently have reservations at Hollywood & Vine for the "Jedi Mickey's Star Wars Dine" (don't ask me how many hours I had to spend hitting "refresh" to score those once they were announced), but I'm trying, nevertheless, to upgrade them to the Jedi Fantasmic Dining Package.

Has anyone successfully booked the H&V Fantasmic package within the past few days? I'm starting to think it was easier to get FP+'s for SDMT.

Thanks!

...Oh! And, of course, whether the lines/crowds are bad depends entirely on park crowds that day. We're going to be there during Star Wars Weekend, so, we're guessing Hollywood Studios will be about the same zombie apocalypse-levels during New Year's at DLR.

If you're on the Dining Plan, I think it's a no-brainer.... If you're paying out of pocket, not so much, especially if there are two performances and you're happy to stay for the second one.
