FEA opening time?

Here now and had not been able to get FP+ For FEA on any of our travel dates. DGSs just loved Maelstrom and are looking forward to FEA. We figured we might have some success early but I cannot quite figure out when this attraction actually opens. Any advice would be appreciated.

FEA opens when Epcot opens, usually 9:00a. FPs are not offered until 11:00a.

Aha! So maybe if we head straight there, we might avoid the crazy wait times! Somewhat. A little bit.

I thought World showcase opened later but this seems be an exception. Glad I asked the question. Thanks!

Numerous reports indicate that the wait time at rope drop is no longer crazy like it once was. Head to FEA just as soon as Epcot opens, and you should be fine. It's what we plan to do in another week and a half....

We went right there on am EMH day last month. We only waited 10 min or so. We were then Able to hit test track and soarin and done with the 3 headliners by 9:20

We were there last week and here is what we did. HS had EMH we rode Toy Story twice in the stand by line. Left HS and just made the boat as it was getting ready to leave. Got to Epcot via the International Gateway and went right to FEA really short line as I guess the crowds from the front of Epcot hadn't made it to the ride yet. This was all before 10am. I don't think the lines are as long as they were when the ride first opened. You should be able to get on the ride when the park first opens without much of a wait.

It would be very unusual that guests heading to Frozen entering from the IG would beat the guests who have entered from the front gates.

We rope dropped FEA last time we were at Disney, and had very little wait. The rush wasn't too bad getting there either.

One time we rope dropped it and the ride was broken for about half an hour, so we did have to wait then. I think that was just some bad luck though.

We will be Rope dropping with our best walking stride and keep our fingers crossed that there are no trolls still lurking to throw us it the ride off course.
