FEA Adults - FP Worthy?

I rode it twice. I think it's very well done. I wouldn't wait more than 20 minutes for it but I really liked it with FP or after PPO breakfast at Akershus.

We FP+ it on our last trip even though DD9 did not want to go because she was sick of Frozen, but DH and I wanted to see it once. We all went into it expecting to be disappointed. I was hoping it was a one and done attraction but we all really enjoyed it. Yes, it's the same track as Maelstrom (I miss Maelstrom) but it is well done. It's worth seeing once, even for adults. It's worth a FP+ or a wait no longer than 20 minutes.

I am disabled so my wife had to lift me in the boat bless her! But we thought it was totally worth it. A big yes from us.

Was it worth it? Yes and no. It was great to be on a new ride, something we had never done before....and it was a really cute way to represent Frozen which I have no shame in admitting is one of my favs. Did it leave me wanting to do it again? Not in the slightest. I'm glad I got it out of my system and I'm pretty sure I won't ride it again unless it was literally a walk on. Not because it was horrible, it just isn't really that exciting. Once you've done it once, you don't really need to do it again.

This and my 10 year old DD feels the same.

My wife liked it. My son and I were "meh", meaning that it was ok but if we never rode it again, it wouldn't break our hearts.

Now my anything Frozen-loving daughter HATED it. She did like the characters, but hated the drops. She said she'll never go on it again.

I think you should try to experience everything at least once just so you know. Having said that, we went on 3 trips after it opened before I broke down and booked a FP for it. I'm not a fan of the movie, o.k. I dislike the move a lot so it wasn't a draw for me. But, like I said, I think you should try what you can and since my son has permanent nerve damage in his spinal cord, there are very few rides we can ride so I got a FP for it our last trip. It was a cute ride, there were some fun parts to it if you pay attention and I got soaking wet. Yes, they put us in the front of the boat, me on the left and I got off looking like I had been on Splash Mountain. It was a cool night in March so walking around with a wet bottom wasn't fun but we did it and probably won't do it again unless it's less than a 20 minute wait. We feel the same way about the new Soarin as well, unless you sit in just the right spot, you see everything kind of warped, the Eiffel Tower is leaning for pete's sake so it's not worth the wait for us. We park hop and use our FPs at another park then just stand by what we want at Epcot.

I'm looking forward to Soar'in and Test Track more, but have gotten a FP for Frozen Ever After. The plan is to get to TT and Soar'in first thing in the morning. I want to ride everything, but don't want to wait in a ridiculously long line either, and that seems to be the trend for Frozen...

We loved it! Plan on FP'ing it during our Epcot day on our upcoming summer trip. I personally strongly dislike Test Track (I'll ride it single-rider during EMH but that's about it), and while I like Soarin' I definitely enjoyed FEA more. I don't even love the movie (though I do love the music!).

We are two adults and will FP it this summer because we haven't been on it yet. I think it's better to use a FP on it than to wait 30+ minutes in the stand by line.

I have not been on yet since last September the SB line was 2 hours.
I think anything that you would like to experience and don't want to wait 2 hours for is worth a FP+.
We are offsite this trip and have not been able to get a FP+ for 10 people so we are going to RD it instead but hey if you can get a FP+ for it I would.

We (myself, age 29, and a friend, age over-50) RD-ed it on my last trip and loved it, but for the next trip I'm going to try to get a FP+ for it for two reasons: 1-even though I loved it, it's absolutely not worth it to me to wait more than 15-20 minutes, and 2-this way I can avoid the 15-minute power walk back to Norway at RD.

The audio-animatronics are amazing, the effects are really well done, and it's a great dark-ride experience. Our family is not crazy about Frozen, but my wife, our 16-yr-old daughter, and I all really enjoyed it. (Our 9-yr-old son was unimpressed.) Imagineering did a great job with the space/system they were given, and we found it to be really worthwhile. I'd say try it once. If it's not your cup of tea, you never have to try it again.

This is what I'm thinking too - even though I may prefer Soarin or TT over FEA, I'm recovering from Achilles surgery, and there is no way on earth I can move fast enough to get to FEA at RD.

I saw it. I don't need to see it again. But...if you've never seen it...it's worth a look. Obviously, there are mixed opinions about this ride. *(I SO miss Maelstrom).

I am up in the air about this too! I have some time before my fastpass window opens up, thankfully! I am interested to keep reading other's opinions here.

We had three different FP+ slots for it during our trip last November. It was broken down on two of them. If I had to do it again, I would probably RD it, since 9:00am to 11:00am is 100% standby.

We were let in at the main entrance at 8:45 and got in line at FEA at about 9:00. My calves were screaming at me for walking so fast and we still waited 20 minutes in line. If RD is your only option for riding without a long wait, then fine, but getting a FP+ for it and then just RD-ing a closer ride like Soarin' or TT is a much better idea imo, especially if you're still recovering from surgery by then.

I FP for our next adult only trip because I want to see it and I am not waiting in those lines to do so. We will RD Soarin' and then single ride TT.

I would rather use a fastpass on it than wait in a long standby line - but you can't predict how long the standby lines will be. I've seen it 60-90 minutes a lot...I wouldn't wait more than 30-35 minutes tho.

When you're at Disney you can't discount things because they are "kids rides". You'll be telling me you're not going on Winne the Pooh next...
