this sounds like so much fun. even if i didn't find a group i could join Id probably go around leaving little gifts just for fun even if i didn't get anything back.

I think the pin idea is a good but id make sure everyone got a different pin so if they want to trade you don't have a boat full of people with the exact same pin.

I personally am a long-time pin trader (more like collector, as I don't like to part with any of my pins!). Great idea...I was thinking the same, but our FE group is so large, I can't afford to buy pins for everyone. But I did get lanyards for everyone so hopefully they can get into the pin trading fun anyways.

I just bought a lot of 26 pins on eBay for $15.50 shipped. I've never bought pins before, but I liked the idea for the tweens in our FE. I looked around some on "fake" pins and basically came to the conclusion that it didn't matter. Most websites say it can be really hard to tell the difference between the real and the over-run/scrapper pins. So if it's hard for them, how am I supposed to know? I hope the kids who get them like them, and that's all I'm really going for. This is our first cruise and first FE - I wasn't really looking to spend $10+ per kid.

BTW, thanks to whoever mentioned Party City and the lanyards - I bought a bunch this morning and was able to get 20% off and free shipping from the lady on the phone (the coupon codes I found wouldn't work online, so I had to call).

How would you feel if you got a pin in your FE?

I am not crafty at all, so I was thinking I could get some pins off ebay (making sure they were trade-able, put a little candy in a clear bag with some stickers.

I would make is gender linked, like mickey for boys, minnie for girls, etc.

Thoughts? Be honest...
