FD/ room check-in questions

Hi, I am hoping for some insight from someone out there. I can't seem to find an answer in any of the stickys or other posts--

We have reservations for the free dining promo in Feb., but cannot find decent airfare on the "perfect" dates (we have ressies coming in on a Saturday and checking out the next Saturday). We HAVE to check in by at least the first Saturday (as it is the last day to have the promo applied for our whole stay), but can't get cheap airfare until the next day. So, my question is, could 1 or 2 of us fly in earlier, check into our 2 connecting rooms @ Pop, pick up tickets, etc., and thenhave the rest fly in on Sunday and still have our free dining?

others will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe all parties need to check in at the same time.

what about checking in "earlier"?

i was in a similar situation with airfare and had to book a room only ressie for a few days and then the FD promo for the rest

i hope someone else can chime in and give some advise....best of luck

I think only one person needs to be checked in on a non discounted room/FD but I am not sure if the whole party has to be there to get FD.
