How far in advance do you usually fax over your room request?

Do you create a nice little poem or do you just basically cut to the chase???

Any advice would be great!!! Thanks guys!!!!! :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth: :teeth:

I send it 4 days prior to checking in, after 4:00 pm I've heard is the best time to fax.

I just go with the basics and include a special note like anniversary or birthday.

This may have an obvious answer, but I'm asking anyway. Where do you fax the request? Does each resort have their own fax number? We are splitting a stay in Jan. between the Pop Century and CBR. We need a fridge for medical purposes, connecting rooms and a crib as well as hoping to be near the food areas and transportation (MIL mobility issues). Is this too much to "fax" for? ;)

How willing is Disney to answer requests? I have read that they are receiving so many that they are starting to disregard the faxes.

Hi! Here's a link to Deb's Wills site that may help.

I've read about faxes not being read also. If you have your reservation with WDW, you may want to call them and have them add your requests to your reservation. That way you don't have to fax anything.

As for answering requests, they seem to do the best they can depending on what is available. On our last trip we stayed at the BC and got a wonderful room (in fact, better than we expected or requested!). Disney seems to know how important requests are to all of us and they seem to work very hard to make people happy.

As for requests, prioritize them. List what is absolutely most important first. If mobility issues are crucial, list that first (it was for my DW). That way they can try to accommodate the most important things, in case they cannot meet every request.

I would decide which of your requests are most important and have them put in your reservation. I wouldn't bother faxing. We have always gotten our requests when asking at check in. A smile goes a long way with an eager to please CM.
