Favourite Ice Cream Flavour

Pistachio is one of the best!

That said, I'm voting for Vanilla. No I'm not being contrarian to all the votes for Chocolate, I genuinely love the simple, delicious purity of Vanilla. There's plenty to enjoy right there, even without syrup.

If you go in without overloading your taste buds with multiple sugary condiments, and you will find vanilla is quite flavorful. If you're a seasoned individual you, don't require additional seasoning, and that is why Vanilla wins in the end.

You mean yours is not neapolitan? 😮

I think it's supposed to be capitalized. Got that drilled into me in high school.

Strangely enough we're going on a trip to Southern California where we're going to indulge in probably more ice cream than we should. Possibly like the time when I was 8 or 9, and a half gallon of Swensen's blueberry cheesecake ice cream wasn't enough, and I went into another half gallon of something else. Our targets are Mashti Malone's (Persian cucumber and Saffron rosewater) in Hollywood, Wanderlust Creamery (several location), and possibly Hans Homemade at the Anaheim Packing House. And we've never had Salt & Straw so we're thinking of that at Downtown Disney. But this is just a little bit weird.

My 11 year old is looking forward to the Japanese Neapolitan at Wanderlust Creamery.

A trio of Japanese classics. Matcha. Hojicha. Black sesame.

Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey, followed by WaWa's Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup, and then the Banana-Chocolate Swirl from Hassel's-a little shack right off the boardwalk in Wildwood.

Choc. chip mint, don't care where it's from.

I do also like home made peach in the summer, there is a little nursery/veggie market near me that makes it in the summer with their own peaches. Rant - I'm from Georgia, live in Georgia, Georgia is the peach state, why the heck can't I find decent fresh peaches? Even the place I get the ice cream from has very few any more and they used to have huge orchards.

I like the salted caramel milk shakes from Dairy Queen but not the ice cream by itself. I'm not a soft serve fan.

Speaking of milkshakes (which no one but me was) any milkshake from Chik-Fil-A

Current favorites:

Talenti Pacific Coast Pistachio
Haagen-Dazs Banana Peanut Butter Chip
Haagen-Dazs Coffee Chip

You need to go to Hans Homemade and get their Drumsticks - they have them with vanilla or chocolate ice cream and they are so good!

Vanilla. Just plain vanilla. Not french vanilla, not vanilla bean, just plain vanilla. If I go out for ice cream then it is a peanut buster parfait from Dairy Queen.

::yes:: Yep - perfect, plain vanilla, just like the good Lord intended. ;)

Frozen custard... not really sure what the difference between ice cream and frozen custard is. My favorite is some kind of cappuccino flavor from Culvers. Until I started trying to eat healthy a few years ago, I used to plan trips to Culvers based on the "Flavor of the Day". There are many of them that I like actually.
