Just interested about which resort(s) are peoples fav.

But the poll only lets me have a certain number of choices so kept it WDW only and excluded RVA as not enough options and new resort......

My choice depends on time of year.
My default is Saratoga Springs. Love being able to walk to Disney Springs everyday/evening for food, drink and/or entertainment.
If it is Food & Wine Festival time. then Beach Club. Nothing better then back to resort to freshen up and walk over to Epcot for great food.
At Xmas time, then it is Wilderness Lodge. Great decorations.

Grand Floridian and believe it or not, I think RIV will be 2nd, though I have not stayed, I fell in love when I visited!

Hard choice
I own AKL and love it
I own Beach Club and love it for different reasons
I want BLT and have stayed there several times and just adore being there
I would like to try Copper Creek but the transportation options I don’t find appealing as I would want my own car like I do at AKL
I would have to say for me it’s a 50/50 split between AKL and BLT
I do enjoy reading what others think interesting poll !!

DH and I LOVE BW. This resort is very convient to two parks, had the "back door" option to Epcot and now we can also access the Skyliner to RR or HS if we want. The views when staying in BWV room can't be beat, probable some of the best on property. The views from standard view rooms aren't bad either. If your lucky you can get a view of Epcot, the fireworks from Epcot, the balloon at DS and now the Skyliner, I would say that's a good view. Pretty much this is the only resort my DH wants to stay at.

I also like BLT, like being able to access the monorail from lobby of main resort, lots of good dining options and I like the modern décor which is very different from our home.

I think GF is a beautifyl resort but my DH is NOT a fan of GF so this resort isn't really an option. We did stay there once, very pretty rooms, not as convenient as BW and the views aren't as good as BW either. Long walk to monorail, boat and dining options. The nice part about staying at a resort on the monorail is trying all the many dining options in this location.

Overall I would say that all the resorts have there own special charm and appeal. Whichever resort you stay at you can probably find something to love about it. Enjoy! :cutie:

To book or to stay for resort only or what? My mind goes right to BWV since we own there and the location is fantastic. Plus we can book standard view (most of the time) and really save on points. We are also Epcot lovers and really enjoy the festivals there. BUT...the rooms are a bit tired and the CMs there can be a bit crabby and we always have MB/MDE issues there and get a late room (well, on the later side like close to 4pm and even after a couple times).

Then my mind goes to AKV as I love love love the theme, dining, animal viewing....that feels like a deluxe resort there. They have beds for 5 in the 1/2BR units and Kidani has the extra bathrooms. BUT...hate that we cannot walk/boat to a park and that we must rely on the dreaded, BUSING. ANd that dang ride back from MK when you are soooo soooooo tired and having to stand on a packed bus :crazy2: .

Next I think about a new fave of ours, SSR. We enjoy eating and drinking (more now with 3 adult kids) and so popping in/out of DS is a plus. And the rooms there are some of the most quiet out of all DVC. We can pull our car right up to our building. Another plus is it is easier to book on short notice. BUT...the main building can be far away and a walk in the elements. And the dreaded busing is atrocious here. LAstly, it lacks theme...IMO. It is just like any ordinary condo unit one might live in.

ANd off WDW property we love our HHI. Also own here and the resort and island is wonderful. The CMs there are lovely. Some of the best CMs of all the DVC. BUT...point cost is high in summer and on weekends (way big jump on weekends) and the annual dues are ridiculously high. Crazy ridiculously high. Can rent other condos on the island, even ocean front, for less than what our dues cost for the stay.

Guess if I did some point system and had several categories and totaled up points, I think BWV would win. So that will be my vote. I do like BCV a tad better but they did away with their jetted tubs so that bumped BCV down a bit to put them on par with BWV...and we own at BWV so...it wins.

I own BLT and like it a lot. Have stayed AKL Kidani and am going back. Have stayed BWV and am Going back (August split stay between AKL and BWV). SSR is nice (first WDW stay w/ my family) and prompted my joining DVC, but a last resort for us. We'll eventually stay at all DVC resorts, but BLT is home to us. Very private with access to everything else. You can't get into BLT without a reservation or being DVC. I kinda like that.

I voted solely on resort, not location. I picked AKL because there is so much to do there and also the extra bathrooms. lol

I picked AKL. In my opinion, you just can’t beat waking up to that savanna view 😍 And then the food!! And the bathroom in the 1BR 🤗

I voted for my home resort, BLT. I have only stayed there a few times but I love the location. On Bay Lake, on the monorail and you can walk to MK. I also love that 3 other Deluxe Resort are a monorail or boat ride away.

And between BLT and CR you get 3 pools.

I have not stayed at all the resorts but most. My #2 would be VGF.
I hopefully will be visiting RR(RIV) in November, maybe that will change my view.

Own and love OKW. The décor, large rooms and parking near entrance or just a few of the reasons why.

Voted for the 2 I own at WDW........OKW and BR
But also VGC and Aulani (I own at VGC too)

BWV... Absolutely in LOVE with this place. I feel like it is two vacations in one, with the amenities of the boardwalk, so close to EPCOT. The last room that I stayed in was so close to France that I felt like I woke up in World Showcase. Ahh... Wish I could be there!🥰

I’ve enjoyed all the DVC resorts we have stayed at:
Saratoga - loved the proximity to Disney Springs. We ate so well that week!

AKV - the kidani pool was kid heaven , and watching animals from our balcony was so relaxing. The many activities for the kids led by CMs were fantastic as well. Also, Sanaa!

BCV - this was our favourite for a long time, and we still love it. So many great memories here. Storm Along Bay,Beaches and Cream, Cape May breakfast, proximity to 2 parks and the Boardwalk...It holds a special spot in my heart

Poly - We stayed here for the first time this past March and were all surprised to find out how much we loved it. Being on the Monorail loop, with the immersive relaxing atmosphere, Ohana right upstairs and the 2 fantastic feature pools... the view of the castle! it narrowly edges out our former #1 (BCV) and we are booked back at the Poly for next year. The connecting studios was also a fantastic feature that we can’t get anywhere else. We always travel with my parents and it was really lovely to have that.

I'm glad they allowed multiple votes. My favorite at WDW is BCV, DH's is OKW. The heading should really have specified "favorite DVC resort at WDW". I noticed that Aulani, HHI, and Vero weren't included. If they had been, both DH and I agree-our favorite DVC resort of all is HHI.

I chose VGF because our best Disney trip was spent in a 2BR there.

We own at BLT and love it there too.

Kidani would be my third choice.
