Favourite buffet breakfast

We like 1900 Park Fare. But the last time we ate there was before the rehab, so I am not sure what it is like now.

The Crystal Palace, no question! The food is quite good, and I am a sucker for Tigger and Eyeore. Chef Mickey's is fun too, but I found the food to be kind of eh.

Good question! I am moving this over to the main Restaurant board for more exposure

By far, my family has always loved 1900 Parkfare. Of course, I was there before the rehab so I'm not sure what it's like now. Eating there gives us an excuse to go the GF and they have some breakfast items that you don't find at other places. I love the blintzes and DH really loved seeing the Madhatter who isn't at any other restaurant. Makes for a fun breakfast. :woohoo:

Buffets at Disney come two ways - one in which they bring the food to your table (Ohana Dinner, and Breakfast, Norway... otehrs?) and when you get up and get the food -

I agree that we really enjoyed the 1900 Park Fare - but we get up and get our Prime Rib, Shrimp, Strawberry soup - all we can eat (not sure with the rehab) we were not fans of Chef Mickey's (you can google search to get the varying opinions - it becomes such a personal choice - same for Hollywood and Vine, which we didnt mind at all - shrimp and Prime rib!)

Crystal Palace all the way!!! DH chose it special this time to celebrate Anniversary Breakfast. Food was great (as it always is) and the characters were perfect!!

We loved Donalds Breakfast at AK, it was a fantastic way to start a day at AK and the CM's there were fantastic!! It is now at Tusker House and we're going back to it again next trip!!

crystal palce by a long way, they have the widest selection of breakfast food that I've seen anywhere. From wonderful fresh fruit, and cold cuts to really tasty hot dishes such as their potato casserole and corn beef hash. so many types of pastries and breads and so many spreads too, there is nothing else like it. There is a kids buffet at their level, and the character interaction just tops it beautifully, of course the setting is pretty wonderful too.

We like the Galley Restaurant at the Yacht Club resort because it is quiet, the restaurant is bright and colorful and the food choices for the breakfast buffet are quiet nice. JMO

Our favorite is the Crystal Palace -- love, love, love the Puffed French Toast. A very close second, though, is Cape May Cafe. The atmosphere is just so relaxed, compared to other character buffets. Plus, we usually stay at the Beach Club, and there's nothing quite like breakfast "at home."

I agree with the poster above me: Crystal Palace and Cape May Cafe are both EXCELLENT!!! Great variety of food, great character experience. I honestly love breakfast food so much and there is so much variety that I could probably eat at either one of these three meals in a row without getting bored.

We were also very impressed as a family with the Restaurant Akershus breakfast. Their potatoes are done in some particularly yummy way. We had not much cared for the dinner we had at Restaurant Akershus in 2006, but the breakfast was great!

We also liked 1900 Park, though we haven't done that since 2006. I should mention, though, that some younger kids may be scared by the Mad Hatter's kookiness.
