Favors and a Intimate

Princessdisneybelle-

We are having favors at our rehearsal dinner (we're calling it a "Celebration Dinner" since there is no rehearsal) provided by Disney Floral. We are having the white chocolate slippers, individually bagged in cellophane and tied with light blue curly ribbon.

They are being provided by Disney Floral and are being delivered to my room the day before the dinner - it is not a good idea to have them delivered directly to the restaurant.

They are part of my additional floral costs (sorry, I'm still waiting on my quote) but if it's something you want, Rosie from Disney floral will help you make it happen - she is great at accomodating requests. :thumbsup2

Our rehearsal dinner is at 1900 Park Fare so we could have had the full slipper dessert but we're pretty sure the kids won't eat most if it and the buffet already has dessert, we thought this would be a cheaper way to make sure we got the slippers without all of the other items on the full plate. It should also turn out a bit cheaper, but one never knows with Disney...

Intimate Wedding 12/11/06

PS - Don't worry about getting everything in place too early - I just started talking in detail with Rosie and we are just inside the 2 month mark! :teeth:

Thank you. Yeah I saw a pic of the Mickey's and my mom said "just let Disney do it" I kinda like to do things myself.

I'm the same way. It's been really difficult not being able to do things by myself.

I would love to do more things ourselves, but since we are coming from Canada, I think I would worry too much about anything going wrong during our trip down.

We are also an Intimate, and we are having a welcome gift sent to each of our guests by Disney Floral. And we are going to have personalised Mickey and Minnie steins from Arribas Brothers act as favors/place holders to be placed at the table for the dinner we are having at Citricos.

Both Rosie (Disney Floral) and Manuel (Citricos) have been very helpful with the details of our day! :cheer2:

We are also using Disney Floral for this. We are having the large white chocolate castle in a bag, with a black velvet ribbon. I know the price of these is $3.95 from Impressions. Check on their website, they may give you some great ideas.... :thumbsup2

We're doing favors. Since we're having 10 people, and our wedding is in December, we're giving Disney Christmas ornaments from Lenox. That way, it's something people will keep, and they can think of us every year when trimming the tree.

We had Disney do the favors, milk and dark chocolate wedding Mickey & Minnie in cello tied with ribbons in our wedding colors. We only needed 8 of them and they were really cute and not expensive. We had them on the beverage table during our cake cutting "reception" and everyone took one. I still have one in my fridge! DH and I are just not big chocolate eaters.

i love the chocolate Mickey and Minnie. My wedding is in the afternoon in July at Sea Breeze Point. I'm afraid they would melt?

Oooh, yeah, that's definitely a consideration! We didn't have a dinner after our wedding but we had a brunch the next day. We could have given them out at the brunch. If you're having a dinner, lunch, or brunch, why not have the restaurant put a favor at each place setting? We did that for the office holiday party that I ran last year and it worked out great.

Where have you decided on having dinner? I'm considering Citrtricos at the GF. And doing Ohanna's for the Rehersal/Welcome Dinner the day before. But it's not definite yet.

Well that bites! We'll have to think of something! What time is the wedding? Are you going to be staying in your wedding attire for the Illuminiations? If so, we'll have to find a place that allows wedding atire. But that's not that hard, it just limits a few places. What about Narcoisis at GF, they don't have the Disney Dining plan, but I don't know if you were thinking of using that. I don't know when they're open. I heard they have really good seafood, and since I'm allergic, we're not considering it. But it's at the GF and you could wear you wedding attire. Also, there are some places in the contemp. that I hear are real nice.

We aren't staying in our attire. I dont want to pay for the private transportation. Our wedding is at Sea Breeze Point. So I would love something there, in the area. We have to go back to Pop Century to change before the Dessert Party. But I think i'm just changing into a shorter dress. So many decisions.

Well, this isn't next to SBP but, it's in Epcot. You could go to Le Cellier for dinner! It's a great place in Canada. They have a great atmosphere and since you won't be in your wedding attire, you could have it there. Then you could just walk over to your Desert Reception afterwards. Just an idea, but I'm sure whatever you come up with, it'll be great! :thumbsup2
