Favorite things to do around the Boardwalk?

we love all the above suggestions especially ESPN club and Jelly rolls. If you want a real great meal but very expensive walk over to Don Shula"s Steakhouse in the dolphin. We had a 4lb lobster dinner that was the best we ever had and we're from New England (HOME OF THE WORLD CHAMPION PATRIOTS!!!!!) Cost about $80.00 ala carte so bring your american express card LOL

Cape May is great for a large crowd to eat together and the buffet is pretty good. :Pinkbounc I love walking around crescent lake at night sooooo romantic.

Wow! Thanks for all the great ideas. I look forward to the trip even more so now!

O.K.

Anyone else read this and get VERY homesick!

I'm here in NY and the snow/ice is coming tonight. WOW do I wish I was walking around the BC/YC/BCV/BW area tonight!!!

I'll spend the rest of the night looking at pictures.

Amen to that, Tammy!

Sitting here reading this thread while its snowing outside, I could almost imagine strolling around Crescent Lake and enjoying many of the things already mentioned.

One other thing I like to do in the evenings is to sit on one of the swings on the beach at BC and look at the lights at the BW.

I heard it was going to be 80 in Tampa today . . . I want to go home! Boo hoo!

Me too!!! (ANd I was just there 3 weeks ago!!)

I am really homesick since I've been saving points for a large family reunion using my points in Dec:( This is the longest I've been a way...about a year and a half. My family can't understand my obsessive planning for this trip. I guess it makes me feel the magic while I'm here looking at the snow come down AGAIN . Some people just don't get it. For me its not really about the parks any more, its the wonderful atmosphere at the resort and the many yummy restaurants to try on each visit. I keep trying to eat at new ones but the old favorites are hard to pass up and there is only so much time:smooth:

When we have the kids we love to walk around the BW and watch the entertainment. We all love to eat at ESPN and get dessert at the Bakery.

Without kids it is Jellyrolls at least twice. You gotta love those guys. They are a riot.

Thanks for this thread and all the great ideas for our first-ever stay at BCV:wave2:

Now that I think about it........thanks to this board and all the great ideas about DVC, transportation, tips, dining, etc., etc.
