We are planning a trip in October and we have reserved a 2BR at BCV. We will be traveling with our DS age 4, DD age 6 and grandparents. We haven't stayed at BCV before and we're seeking input.

How is the pool for little ones? They are fairly good swimmers as we have a pool in our yard at home. Is is really far from the villas? We've stayed at VWL and that distance was o.k.

What are your favorite things to do at BCV??

We appreciate any input!

I love the location of BCV. You are right next door to EPCOT and a short boat ride away from MGM and the Boardwalk (we usually walk).

The variety of restaurants to choose from within walking distance is incredible. There is a character breakfast on site. A very nice meal and not as crowded as others. Beaches and Cream is a great place for lunch or and ice cream.

The pool. It really isn't that far but it is a nice walk. There is also a quiet pool right there if you just want to relax. SAB is a really cool pool for the kids and there are organized pool games just about every day.

SAB is TOTALLY cool for kids their age. I think it's the best
pool on Disney property.

The Boardwalk has cool stuff going on at night too along with the restaruants & ice cream places. Jugglers, face painting and surrey rentals are a lot of fun. You're going down
a good time of year. If you're going to be there for the food and wine festival and MNSSHP, make sure you get to it! They are great.

The nice thing about BCV & BWV are that you can walk to Epcot.

We love the BCV and also have a 4 and 6 year old.

We love SAB - it is the best pool on site. Beaches and Cream is a great little restaurant and so is Cape May Cafe. We really enjoy the character breakfast buffet there. Mugs come in real handy here since they can be filled right out at the pool bar (I was annoyed that the pool bar at WL would not give refills)

The 5 minute walk to Epcot is great. Free Valet parking is great, especially when its raining (remember to tip!). Room service is a nice option and there are grocery items in the store just inside the walkway to BCV. DVD rentals are free of charge to DVC members.

We love the boat to MGM, and it is great having the option to walk there as well (especially after Fantasmic). There are a ton of restaurants when you take into account that Boardwalk, YC, BC, Swan and Dolphin are all so close. There is a kids club if the adults would like a night on the town (My DW and I are taking advantage of this in July. A nice dinner at the Yachtman and then over to the Boardwalk.)

We stayed in a BCV one bedroom last August and I've taken many pictures of SAB over the last couple years. I've linked a slideshow of each.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the input and the great slide show!

I think we will be happy with BCV and SAB. I was worried that the slide and the pool would be too big for the kids but it sounds like it will be great!

I'm waiting for Disney to announce the days for MNSSHP. I hope it will be during our trip.

How is the child care area at Yacht and Beach Club?

Thanks again!:Pinkbounc
