Favorite snacks at the parks.

I am so wanting to try some of the things people have mentioned... Dole Whip being the #1 thing.

The frozen lemonade in Hollywwod Studios is amazing. I know it's sold outside Indiana Jones Stunt Show. It was so refreshing and a real life saver on a boiling day.

There is also some fantastic strawberry chocolate in Japan which really made up for missing the chocolate at home.

Then there is the amazing popcorn. I can smell it from a mile off and can't help myself. My only complaint is that the tubs are just too small to satisfy my cravings.

MMMM food at WDW....I ate quite alot of it. For snacks, I think I ate popcorn popcorn:: the most. Like others have said it smells so good and every time I walked passed a popcorn stand, I had a box in my hand (I did get one souvenir bucket to bring home). I also ate a lot of the frozen Minnie's Strawberry bar and my wife loved the chocolate covered frozen banana. I had churro's, funnel cake, pretzels, and we shared a Turkey leg (for us it was ok). We of course got Dole Whips. Yummy :thumbsup2

OMG one of my favorite subjects!

MK - Dole Whips & Citrus Swirl, Cappuccino Smoothies, fudge (Key lime pie was awesome), Cinnamon rolls

Epcot-Cappuccino Smoothies, School bread in Norway, Cannoli's in Italy, Crepes in France, Funnel Bread in US, Baklava in Morocco,

DHS - Cappucino Smoothies

AK- Chai Tea Smoothies, Lemonade Ice

STRAWBERRY SWIRL FROM THE ENCHANTED GROVE!!!!! Yes I know this is all caps, but I had to do it! I found this OH MY GOD SO DELICIOUS!!! treat on our last day at Magic Kingdom when my son finally got it and didnt' like it:confused3 Well, of course, I am not gonna waste $3 so I had to try it and I was like "ok, honey, I'll eat it for you":rolleyes1 . I looked for it or something similar at all the other parks after that and couldn't find it and never went back to MK on this trip. I am dreaming about it now, so anybody there have one for me!!!

Also my favorite!!! I will be having one on Saturday for you!!! Not a big fan of the Dole Whips. I was so excited to have one because I love pineapple but was way too sweet for me. Give me a Strawberry Swirl any day.

Ooh - you can't forget about chocolate covered banana's!

I feel like I have missed out a lot on our trips. I have only gotten the pineapple dole whip. I will have to make a list of all of the other snacks and work my way through the world.

Now, my kids love the small chip and dale snack pretzels that they sell in the giftshops. They actually live off it in the park.

Our favorite snack, if we have to pick ONE, would have to be the Mickey ice cream sandwich bars. They are great and really cool us down on those warm December afternoons.

:)
Dole Whip Float of course. Must have two a day while at MK. Also a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich from Main Street Bakery to watch the parades. At home I never eat ice cream, but at WDW I just can't get enough. Can't wait until we get to go back again!

Ok.. i have to ask.. what is a beaver tail?????? :confused3

It's truly is better than it sounds. Here's a quote from an Ottawa tourism guide:

"the tasty beaver tail, a doughy, deep-fried pastry associated with Ottawa, although a number of places claim to have created it. It's available in sweet and savory versions, topped with cinnamon, sugar, icing sugar, etc. In the winter, many places will offer it on the canal. During the summer, the only place downtown to offer it is in the Byward Market on George St. There is a variety of toppings and the taste of the beaver tail arguably stands out more with the classic sugar & cinnamon. However, the locals' favourite is the Killaloe sunrise, a topping of cinnamon sugar and lemon juice."

The canal that runs through Ottawa becomes a huge skating rink in winter and there are huts set up to sell drinks etc. and of course beaver tails.

I love the dole whips....found them last summer courtesy of the DIS and couldn't get enough!! Also love churros! yum yum. Not a fan of american chocolate so don't like the mickey bars I'm afraid.

Do they still serve this at the Canada Pavilion? If so where?

I searched a few places on line and even the Disney Website but did not see any locations for Snacks in AK. Does anyone have list or know of a few spots that offer Snacks on the Dinning Plan in AK?

Pretzels with cheese, frozen chai tea in AK, make your own apple at Goofy's in DTD ( I like just carmel and nuts), funnel cakes, frozen cokes............... I can almost gain 10 lbs just thinking about it all! I can't wait until I am there again!!!:lovestruc
