We were there in November, and I usually wore my Sleepy wrap with just my (Target) nursing tank underneath - that way, I wasn't too overheated, and nursing was just a matter of shifting his position and dropping the flap (I did keep a light sweater with me for times that I took off the wrap.) Congrats!
If you are into wraps....I have a gypsy mamma balli breeze wrap that I absolutely LOVE and use with my 17 month old (carrying him on my back). My sister has the same wrap and also loves using it with her newborn! So much versatility and it is so light weight it doesn't make you super hot. I have had multiple carriers/slings and this wrap is my favorite!
I dislike ring slings for long periods of time b/c my back would start to hurt since the weight is not evenly distributed. Love, love the ellaroo wrap and mei tais. They're just better for my back. Hated the bjorn with a passion. Sob and sigh...I miss my babywearing days
The PP's have given some great suggestions. I didn't read them all, so someone may have mentioned New Native. Here's their site: http://www.newnativeinc.com/ They also sell infant support pillows that you can prop them up on inside the sling.
I loved this sling! I had it in black and my husband didn't mind wearing it too ! I would nurse and people would come up to me and want to peek at the baby, not realizing he/she was getting a meal , so I nursed very comfortably in public without embarrassment. You can use it to hold a toddler on your hip too.
