Skinny is OBNOXIOUSLY heavy. REALLLLY heavy.

I wouldnt buy it again - and I REALLY wouldnt buy it again with summer coming.

JMHO of course.

Just say no to store bought brands!

I use TiGi Dumb Blonde shampoo/conditioner and I use Halo Purity Shampoo as a clarifier. For anti dandruff I use the Redken brand. Every single one I use is color safe since I have 5500 colors in my hair.

I have Super Skinny. I don't like it. I have really really thick semi wavy hair (naturally..before straightened of course) and it makes it really greasy and as Cathryn said- its very heavy.

I'm interested to see what others recommend. I used Pantene for years and years and recently wasn't liking how my hair was feeling/looking.

I tried a Suave shampoo/conditioner and it wasn't enough conditioner. I tried Suave Vibrant Shine and it's okay, but I don't love it.

Last week, I bought some travel size stuff and have tried Dove (light green bottle) and it's okay...and I tried Garnier Fructis Daily Care and it was okay too. But I don't know which to go with...or if there is something else that I will like better.

I know people hate hearing this- but those shampoos and conditioners you buy in the store are terrible on your hair and also dry them out.

Try going to a salon (I am in love with Ulta) and buy some of their liters when they are on sale. Do you have a regular stylist? If so, you may be able to get some suggestions from her/him.

I buy TiGi liters...usually they are on sale for like 2/$20. They literally last me 8-9 months.

Do you wash your hair every day?

I have Garnier that I tried not long ago. It's all right, my hair is fine, blonde, thick and wavy/curly (but I blow-dry it straight).

I loved Matrix in the past when I wore my hair curly.

Lately, I have been using *gasp* Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight. It doesn't make your hair straight as a board, but it definitely relaxes it from curling so much. It makes it much easier to blowdry straight and then flatiron the problem areas compared to the Garnier I had.

Really because the Serum is one of the only ones that does make my hair slick & heavy, so I thought maybe the shampoo & cond would work. Maybe I will go with another TIGI. I would love to use Bumble & Bumble but I don't want to pay full price, there is not a supply place around here for them. I am lucky I have my license so I can buy at cost.

Wella Color Preserve Repairing Shampoo! I love this stuff! Makes my hair much more moisturized and definitely does not weigh it down!

I would love to buy salon products but with my kids they get into them no matter what i say or do they will use them :sad2:

I bought a BIG bottle of panteen and yep it's almost gone and I bought it about 3 weeks ago? and yes they have their own stuff!

i only wash my hair every other day.

but I also think my dh uses it as well and when he uses shampoo he get a huge handful but he has NO HAIR! :confused3

:headache: I was talking about the serum. I didn't even know there was a shampoo/conditioner as well! So maybe I lied :rolleyes1

I am jealous though, I wish I could buy at cost.

Salon shampoos don't do a thing for me. I get the best results from White Rain Shampoo and Conditioner.

Yeah - the girls where I buy my stuff told me that too, and I thought they were crazy.

It made your hair ridiculously weighed down. I dont think Ive ever used anything like it.

I gave it to my son - who has longer hair than me - thinking he wouldnt really 'know' the difference. He came back to me and said he needed a different conditioner because that one was too thick, and it hair felt 'gross'.

I think it's the conditioner and not the shampoo though. But it didnt matter how little of it you used, it still felt yucky afterwards.

So, I have a full bottle of that garbage if you want me to send it to you.

It's quite fantastic. :goodvibes

Im going to America's Beauty Show in one week and plan on buying lots and lots and lots at cost, too. ;)
