Favorite shampoo & conditioner?

Hmm, I also like the little free shampoos that are given out at WDW in the room!!!!

Matrix Biolage. I can use it every single day and it doesn't build up, plus it leaves my hair in great condition.

I buy it at BJ's, $20. for the huge bottle which lasts a long time, so it's not even that expensive in the end. I use the Biolage Conditioning Balm every few days or so.

love this stuff!

That's funny--I came in here to say I don't like Pantene! I'm on the look out for something new myself.

I've used Pantene for years. It's always made my hair shiny and soft. I loved the way my hair looked after washing. But they've had to have changed it somehow, because all of a sudden both DH and I are having the same scalp buildup problem! One of my errands for tomorrow is to go and get something new, so this has been a timely thread.

Try beer!!!

I have tried Biolage and Redken and Nexxus products but never really noticed a difference in my hair just in my checkbook. So right now I use either Infusium 23 or John Frieda Brilliant Brunette. To me they both work great.

I love this stuff!!

I use the Dove Intense Therapy line of shampoos and conditioners (comes in a blue bottle). I'm not sure what kind of hair you (OP) have, but mine is a mixture of coarse/fine and is thick. The Dove shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair sooooo soft!

I always bought the cheap store stuff (like Herbal Essence) until my stylist showed me how my hair looked using Matrix Sleek Look. It was amazing!!! It finally did what I wanted it to do without frizzy hairs everywhere.

I have tried Redken's smooth down and liked Matrix better so I stick with that.

HOWEVER, she used Redken all soft yesterday and my hair was so soft... and it still styled fairly well. I may have to give that a go after the monster bottles of Matrix I have runs out.

My hairstylist uses some Redken...
She recommended the All Soft. (but, it can be expensive!)

Right now I am using the Tresseme Smooth and Silky.
It is cheep, and I haven't been tempted to try any other more expensive brands!!! (I did try the Tresseme thermal recovery conditioner... it is not good) I can recommend the Tresseme in the Smooth and Silky. :thumbsup2

I have also used the Biolage hydrating shampoo and the Detangline Rinse as a conditioner... It is good... no gunky buildup! :thumbsup2

I wish I could find something that moisturizes and softens without the greasy residue and buildup. but... alas...

I have thick, course, wavy, sometimes frizzy, hair.
I can't use anything that is 'heavy'.
The Nexxus leaves so much grease and silicon in my hair, it is like the one other poster said... It was 'gross'!!! :scared:

I use biolage shampoo and alterna hemp conditioner. The hemp conditioner is amazing. Literally, it's amazing. I bought this Fekkai conditioning treatment that you are supposed to leave in for 20 minutes. My hair felt softer when I used the hemp conditioner for 2 minutes rather than the Fekkai. It's a bit pricey but it is waaaaaaaay worth it.

I use White Rain extra body shampoo and conditioner and alternate with John Frieda Sheer Blonde shampoo/conditioner. I bought some of the Suave blonde shampoo/conditioner to use when I run out of John Frieda. The blonde shampoo must be making some kind of difference because I saw a friend I hadn't seen in a long time and she commented that my hair looked much lighter and blonder. I'm a natural blonde.

It's quite fantastic. :goodvibes

Im going to America's Beauty Show in one week and plan on buying lots and lots and lots at cost, too. ;)

Cat I am soooo jealous!!!

I use Catwalk for colored hair. I love it, I love the way it smells.
I love what my Brit uses when she does my hair. I am not sure what it is.

But when Ams does it her salon uses TiGi. I love the way it smells.
