Hi everyone! :wave2:

I like to spend a couple of days during the holidays catching up on movies :)

I personally love a good tearjerker every now and then... can any one give any good suggestions? For me, my favorite so far is Message In A Bottle - i couldn't stop blubbering during the last few minutes of it!

Any others you can suggest??? :goodvibes

Steele Magnolias.. The cemetery scene especially..

Stepmom - starring Julia Roberts..

"What Dreams May Come"

Lately I can't seem to get that movie off of my mind.

The last 15 minutes or so of "The Champ" with little Ricky Schroeder. Try watching that and not crying!

Kramer vs. Kramer

That last scene really gets to me!

LOL, I haven't watched that one since I was a kid, but I do remember bawling like a baby at the end!!! :teeth:

"Brian's Song" and "Madame X" with Lana Turner. Oldies but goodies.

Definately Beaches & Steel Magnolias... but most recently RENT, sad yet hearwarming and eye opening.

 I get teary eyed just remembering the movies you mentioned.

I'm a bit ashamed to admit this but the last movie I cried on was Hildalgo.

When I want a tear jerker though, my favorites are Steel Magnolias and My Life.

The one I love that always gets me crying is A Walk to Remember. It's a great movie!

Forgot to mention a major tear-jerker.. "Pay It Forward".. Wow! Definitely a three-hankie..

Terms of Endearment. Gosh, I sob when I watch that movie. When Shirley MacLaine yells at the nurses "GIVE MY DAUGHTER THE SHOT!" I lose it. And when Debra Winger opens her eyes and stares at her mother when she dies. That is one amazing movie.

Wow! Madame X- now that is a tear jerker from the past. That and Gigo were old favorites, I'm showing my age. Nancy

Where the Heart Is

Beaches

Steel Magnolias

Pay It Forward

Remember the Titans

21 Grams, maybe the best acted movie I have ever seen.

Most definitely!!! The song "Seasons of Love" makes me tear up every time!

My favorite tearjerker: Titanic! I cry in the exact same places every time I see the movie, and I have lost count how many times I've seen it. The first time I saw it I thought I was going to have to leave the theater, I was crying so hard.

Also, I took DD to see Narnia again today, and it has made me cry both times I've seen it. Aslan's sacrifice and what it truly represents really gets to me.

Other movies:
Forest Gump ("You died on a Tuesday..." :sad1: )
Gone With the Wind (when Melanie dies)
The Green Mile
E.T. (I was 11 when it came out and it was the first movie to ever make me cry.)
The opening of The Lion King because it's just so beautiful!
