Favorite ride for Magic Kingdom fireworks?

We've gotten pretty good at timing it just right for BTMR. There is just something so awesome about climbing that open lift hill and seeing the fireworks frame the castle!

I have watched the fireworks from Astro Orbiter - the only caution I would give is that if you get motion sickness you might want something that doesn't revolve quite so quickly. You do have to constantly move your head if your wanting to watch the fireworks and it can be a little disorienting (especially with a little kid "driving" you. It was a walk-on/no need to disembark ride during the fireworks though so you can potentially see the whole show from there.

Can you share your timing? We have made it a goal to try each ride mentioned and will be in the parks again next week :)

Hopefully I am not too late to help you!

We make sure we are in Frontierland at least 30 minutes before the show starts The fireworks are mostly continuous throughout the show, but are especially heavy in the last five minutes, which helps your chance of seeing them while on the ride. Then you have to do some quick simple math. If the wait time on the ride is 15 minutes or less. You will have a good chance if you get in line right before or at the start of the show. If the wait time is 20 minutes or more, you will need to get in line early. If the show starts at 8pm and the BTMM wait time is 30 minutes, you should get in line around 7:30-40pm so that there is a good chance you will be on the ride during the show.

Lots of variables here, of course. The biggest being the listed wait time being accurate and the line moving along efficiently. After some trial and error you will start to get a feel for the right time to get into line.

Not really an answer to this question as to which ride lets you enjoy seeing the fireworks BUT, which ride helps if fireworks are overwhelming and you forget to leave the park early enough to avoid them -or in our case get to the park too early for an afterhours event.
We were parking hubby's scooter to go on the jungle cruise just as the first BOOM went :scared: a couple of amazing Cast members saw my reaction, came over and escorted us onto a private cruise, there was NO ONE else there so the skipper took waaay longer than usual in the back section of the ride and we got back to the dock just as the fireworks were ending. Saved the night for us!
