Favorite quick service in World showcase portion of Epcot?

I love Tangierine Cafe because of the vegetarian options, but meat-eating DH likes it there too. The portions are pretty big, so depending on your definition of "light meal" you could consider splitting orders.

Another vote for Tangerine Cafe. Their falafel sandwich is fantastic.

We love the fish and chips at the British pavilion...but wish there was more seating as it fills up so quikly...

I second those who recommended the French bakery for the ham & cheese croissant. I had it on both Epcot days, delicious. Definitely ask them to warm it up - they may offer to do so, but just in case. AND even better, at the time (August 2011), it was a snack credit. We carry bottles of water w/ us so I didn't need to use a QS credit.

My husband also paid cash for a club sandwich at Norway's Kringla bakery - I tasted it and it too was quite yummy.

They are just the right portions so you are satisfied after the meal without feeling stuffed.

We tried both the chicken and beef tacos in Mexicon durring our Feb trip fit lunch and thought they were good.

Sommerfest in Germany and Yorkshire in UK, even though it's fish.

I'm not usually a fan of very many counter service restaurants, but do like Tangierine Cafe in Morrocco, Kringla bakery in Norway, and Boulangerie Patisserie in France.

I LOVE a lot of the restaurants in Epcot, but last May on my trip, we ate at Katsura Grill (which I think at that point was still called Yakitori House) and it was horrible!! I got some kind of teriyaki chicken and rice, and the meat seem really low quality. No one in my group was impressed with the place.:sad2: The only redeeming quality was that we ate outside and it was beautiful! And there was a mama duck with little baby ducklings walking around that were so cute! :rotfl:

But yeah, maybe it's gotten better since last year...but with all the other awesome quick service meals in the World Showcase, I would not go to thaat one!!

EXACTLY! I would add (ranked as our 4th choice) Sommerfest in Germany, if you like brats; the dessert is really yummy there, too!
