I posted this on the family board but then saw this board. I figure it's better suited here. :)

I think we want to do ONE character meal while we're there. The only stipulation I have is that it's not the princess one b/c I don't think my son will enjoy that. :lmao:

I really really wish Capt. Hook was at one. Our son would love that. He loves the Captain!

I remember back in the 70's/80's, the riverboat that is now Fulton's Crabhouse used to be the only place to go for character dining. It was a mish-mosh of characters and princesses and I remember seeing Capn' Hook there. Sorry for the random memory dump. :sad2:

We really enjoyed our Crystal Palace dinner experience though.

I remember that character meal - we have old video of me NOT enjoying meeting Captain Hook. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh - memories!

We like Chef Mickey's for breakfast. It is our favorite character dining experience.

Chef Mickey's for breakfast is really fun. We saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald there.

Chef Mickeys is really fun for us. The song and napkin twirling really gets things energized. We just love that place. We also go to Crystal Palace, but to us it's not as much fun as Chef M.

just another suggestion.... if you are going to DAK try breakfast with Donald at Tusker House. The food is great and the atmosphere is too. Donald, Daisy, Mickey, Minnie, and Goofy are usually there

If he is into Stitch don't miss the Friendship breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Goofy at the Poly.

If price is the object-go to 2 breakfasts, they are a very good deal (see prices on all ears menus).

Chef Mickey at the Contemporary is great for Mickey, Minnie, Donald and I think Goofy.

Crystal Palace in MK is all Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet.

So it depends on your DS is into but try 2 breakfasts it might work for you.

All three I mentioned above are lots of fun with music and parades and good food.

This would be my suggestion also.

Tusker House was my favorite for breakfast. Crystal Palace in my favorite dinner.

Another vote for Garden Grill. At least from me. My son(5) would pick Backyard BBQ (which I dislike very much). At Garden Grill I thought it was a little more relaxing than Chef Mickey's and Chip and Dale did a great job of interacting with the kids (like Dale hiding son's bottle of water and blaming it on sis) My son still talks about how silly Dale was.
