Favorite Pampered Chef Item

I don't know where to start, but I cook all the time.

I love my cookwear, the 12" family skillet, the 8" sauute pan is great for omelets.
The bamboo spoons are awesome. I had to get a second set.
I love the food chopper. It is also great for chopping nuts for cookies.
I love their hand hammered knives. I use the santoku practically every day!
The can opener and little can strainer.
The BBQ tools
The silicone baster

I don't know what I'd do without my uncrustable sandwich maker!!!!! My girls won't eat the crust on their sandwiches so the gadget it pretty handy :thumbsup2

Also love my pizza stone :thumbsup2 and stoneware baking dishes :)

I will also say my dh loves his barbecue mitt (and the can opener when he got used too it)

- like I wouldn't use a garlic press, because I just buy the garlic in a jar!

OK, I have to address this, because I felt the same way UNTIL I went to my neighbor's Pampered Chef party. She made a garlic chicken pizza, and raved about how much better it was with fresh garlic, rather than garlic from a jar. I thought, "Yeah, right, whatever. I'm sure it's the same.", but let me tell you, it wasn't!!!! Garlic from a jar doesn't have near the flavor that fresh garlic does, and using the press doesn't take any more time or make any more of a mess, since you can just throw it in the dishwasher. I couldn't live without my press now!!!!!

In addition to my press, I love my small and large batter bowls, and my stoneware jelly roll pan. The pan is great for baking cookies and also for square pizzas.

I love the pastry cutter. I RARELY make pie crust, but it is GREAT chopping eggs for egg salad.

You can also make fish sticks, french fries, chicken fingers and re-heat chinese food on the rectangular stone (aka jelly roll pan) and you won't ever have to flip them because the stone cooks evenly!

Also if you ever make biscuits from bisquick baking mix, it's almost impossible to cook them all the way through without burning the bottoms on a metal pan. Cook them on the stone and they come out perfect!

I need to pick out some Pampered Chef items. What is your favorite item?

I'm not much into cooking and like to take the easy way - like I wouldn't use a garlic press, because I just buy the garlic in a jar!

Thank you for any ideas!

If you don't cook much you may want to look into the can opener or the microwave cookers. The trifle bowl is nice because you can use it not only for trifle, but if you look in the catalog they show you how you can use it for everything from a punch bowl, candle holder, and flower arrangements.

I would also say if you like to have people over the simple additions pieces are beautiful. I didn't think much of them at first, but you could go out and buy take out for guests and serve it in Simple Additions and they will think you made it yourself.

The carafe keep coffee hot for 8 hours so if you like to drink coffee all day long that's a good one too!

Okay, I'll stop now....

Love the story about the garlic press - that would be me saying that. So maybe I will try the garlic press - the garlic chicken pizza sounds really good.

So far this is what I am getting -

Garlic Press
Mini Serving Spatula
Small Batter Bowl
Classic Batter Bowl
Adjustable Measuring Spoons
Adjustable Measruing Cup
Quick Stir Pitcher
Ice Cream Scoop
Cutting Board
Pizza Cutter
Small Scoup
Large Bar Pan

I may get

Colander & Bowl Set
Large Cutting Board
One of the knives

Thank you all so much for your help, I wouldn't have gotten some of these items if they haven't been mention.

:thumbsup2 I'm excited for ya! Looking at the online catalogue last night I was wishing I had $200 to spend. :) I love the stuff I have, and saw several things I'd like to have.

Stick a couple of the cheap paring knives on your order. You'll love 'em.

I was looking at the knives, I can't decide which to get. Are the Color Coated Knives really any different then the Foged Cutlery?

I have a ton of favorite items!
Just to name a few of my top favorites:
can opener (you MUST get this!)
brown square scrappers (not exactly sure what they are called - but they come with the stones to helpo clean them, or you can buy them in packs of 3)
chopper
garlic press
knives that come with the sharpener - they work great!

You'll be happy with almost anything you buy. Pampered Chef sells a quality product and stands behind it if you have any problems.

Small serving spatula.

I love mine and got so excited when I won one at a party that I think everyone there bought one. I keep losing them at potlucks, so I'm back down to one again.

I also Vote for the Pizza Cutter, Icecream Scoop, and the Bamboo Thongs!!!!

I love every piece of PC I have and I have been buying it for at least 10 years.
Here is the top of my list:

Garlic Press
Pizza Stone
Can Opener
Citrus Peeler
ALL the Stoneware (bar pans, deep dish baker, etc.)
Cook books
BBQ utensils
Steak knives
Chillzane bowls and veggie tray

I am planning to get some of the SS cookware in a couple of weeks. I am MOST excited about that. Do any of you have that and is it great??

I have some and yes it is great! I have the 5 piece set and the covered skillet and they are awesome!

The way the handles are made they don't heat up so you can touch them even without a potholder and not burn your hand. I was a little worried that they wouldn't clean up easily but they do, although in order to keep them shiny you do need to use some stainless cleaner every now and then.

My disclaimer - I sell the stuff. Just thought you should know. I will say though that I don't love every single thing, but I do love a lot of it!
