Favorite Moderate Resort

CSR- love everything about it from the lush grounds to the rooms and the food.
FW cabins- when our kids were younger, we loved it because it was quiet. It felt like 2 vacations- WDW and camping. I'm not a camping woman and my husband was thrilled that I would stay in a cabin, lol. Now, I think about staying at FW for the same reason we orgihinally stayed there- the quiet. The deluxe resorts and DVC villas have people making noise at all hours and that is not very relaxing.

I have stayed at POR and POFQ. I truly enjoyed both but I would choose POFQ first for its small size and feel. The beignets are not to be missed, to my knowledge there is nowhere else to get them in WDW. Scat Cats Club is just off the lobby with entertainment and a wonderful ambience. The pool was great with a fun slide. The hot tub was a little further away from from the pool, which we found relaxing. We had no problems with bus service and loved the boat ride to DTD.

I do prefer the decor of POR in the main areas, POFQ has a more "cartoon" Mardi Gras decor. The food court gets a slight nod for the make your salad and pasta. I stayed in a mansion room ( not. a Royal Guest room) at POR but we were far from the the food court and there are multiple bus stops.

I have visited CSR and plan to stay there on a future trip. I have not been to CBR, even to tour, but I will do so on my next trip.

You won't be disappointed in any resort you choose. I stayed off property for years bout there is something truly magical about being on property.

I have stayed at all 4 (oh but not the Cabins) and I think Coronado and CBR are tied. Food options were better at CSR and I'd give the room décor a slight edge but the Pool and activities are better at CBR.

I have stayed at cbr and POFQ and of the two, POFQ hands down! It is a favorite period!

I am booked at CSR in December and hope I like it. It was the most affordable for an impromptu trip so I am happy to see a lot of love for it here!

CSR. I like the theming and don't mind the size. I kind of like how spread out the resort is. Been there twice and would gladly stay again.
