We're planning to be at WDW over my daughter's 16th bday this year and I think she'd love a birthday breakfast to start her day! Her favorite park is Epcot, but it doesn't look like Garden Grill is offering their breakfast option (at this time). Please share your favorite breakfasts in the parks. They can be quick-serve or sit down with reservations, in any of the parks. And if you know of a special birthday treat they offer please share that as well. :cake:

There are so few restaurants serving breakfast right now, especially on the parks.
I hope by her birthday more places will open.

I have been looking also for breakfast spots, I was lucky enough to get one at Topolino's in The Rivera Resort, people seem to be raving about it.

While not technically in a park, Trattoria al Forno's breakfast generally gets very good reviews. It is at the Boardwalk, which would work great if you are wanting to head to Epcot after breakfast as you could just take the short walk to the International Gateway.

I agree. Topolino's sounds like a great breakfast before heading over to Epcot. It's just one stop away on the skyliner and feels like a special breakfast.

Our favorites if they open are Crystal Palace and Tusker House. Not sure if things will change but on our last trip it was my DH’s birthday and he wore a button. We had breakfast at Cape May and even though he is not a kid he was brought a donut with a candle on it and was sung to and was brought a birthday card with all of the signatures of the characters. At lunch we were at Tutto Italia and he has food allergies so they brought him sorbet with a candle and sang to him. The same with Le Cellier for dinner.

In the "before" times, our favorite was grabbing breakfast at the bakery in France - it opened with the park at 9 but World Showcase didn't open until 11. The now 11am park open isn't really conducive to breakfast. If doing EPCOT that day, I echo the Topolino's recommendations - food, service and characters are amazing. I also think Ale & Compass at Yacht Club is solid - and easy to walk (or take boat) over to EPCOT.

It's so hard to answer this because so little in-park is open. The only in-park character breakfast right now to my knowledge is Hollywood & Vine and that may be a bit young for a 16 year old (Disney Junior characters).

Sit down breakfasts in the park being almost non-existent right now, I'd recommend Ale & Compass at The Yacht Club. They have a good breakfast and are within walking distance from the International Gate entrance of Epcot, or a short friendship boat ride.

I don't really know of a good quick service breakfast in the parks...maybe Sunshine Seasons for Epcot.

That's right! Still not used to that.
Me either. I'm sure that's why Garden Grill also isn't serving breakie. I REALLY hope that by summer, even if it's late summer, they will start returning to the longer hours they used to have. Earlier in the am, later in the pm. It will probable space out the crowds better too. I'm trying to be optimistic about it all.

We had breakfast at Topolinios shortly after it opening. Amazing service and oh so good!!!

Everyone is coming up with outside the parks or pre-covid. I think you might have to be adaptive, or see what happens closer to her birthday. I can feel it in my bones that things will open up soon. With that, is she looking for a- I want to be a kid again kind of thing or a I’m growing up kinda thing (my daughter is turning 16 our next visit, but she wants like a Chef Mickey’s kind of experience)?

I think QS is really your only breakfast option in the parks and Epcot opening so late means none of the usual suspects (Les Halles, Sunshine Seasons) are feasible. I really think you would really be better off eating at one of the resort TS nearby and then going to Epcot. I second Ale & Compass and Trattoria al Forno, both are excellent and hopefully by the time you go the characters will be back at the latter, it’s basically the only one with princes and the food is a cut above most character breakfasts.

The only in-park breakfast that I like these days is the Nutella & fresh fruit waffle at Sleepy Hollow, but I'm not quite sure that's what you're looking for. You're probably better off looking at the resorts. My favorite resort breakfast options are the Wave and Topolino's Terrace.

I recently had an exceptional breakfast experience at Trattoria al Forno. The steak and eggs were perfect and so were my daughters hot cakes. Our server, Brandy, was excellent. Seven of us at breakfast ate at Ale & Compass in September and it was very underwhelming. Maybe that was just a fluke.
