Second for this one, Cee. If you got the SSR lovers thread, you'll get a lot more who concur. I have a panorama that I merged and had matted and framed on our living room wall.
I also have one that's a little odd, and that mentioning might jinx. Before Wishes in the summer, there are easily several thousand people packed on top of each other. If you go a few hundred feet into the Rose Garden -- maybe two dozen. It's a wonderfully peaceful spot in the am, but with the excitement of the anticipation of fireworks, it's one of my happy places.
My favorite spot is sitting on our balcony at Kidani with my DD12 and a cup of coffee. We wake every morning and watch the sun rise over Jambo and welcome the new exciting day.
OKW upper floor balcony in the morning overlooking the canal
Kidani (just about anywhere I can relax and look at the animals)
WL 4th floor fireplace lounge overlooking the lobby (do not tell anyone or else it will get crowded and ruin the feel of having it all to ourselves)
So I will go with sitting in the front of on of the launches that go to and from all the resorts near MK (yes I know you get a little wet but that is part of the fun).
Trying both BWV (BW view) and BLT (LV) this itrip so maybe I will find some new ones so where is the Bellvue room located at BW.
definately our BW view balcony, especially early in the morning, as the sun comes out and the world begins to awaken
-the wicker chairs on the back balcony of the BW, and those in the little nook under it
- the benches on the BW
- lots of places in WS - behind france, england....in front of germany, and all the little places in morrocco
-the front entrance of EPCOT, where you watch the unbridled excitement of those just entering
- the little grassy area in front of the writer's stop in DHS, and another quiet area past the entrance to TOT
- the smoking section in MK, to the right of main street ..(that you walk down to - with tables and chairs and ducks)
- any bench or low wall in DTD, where the music plays as you people watch
At the end of Main Street USA there is a bench with a bronze statue of Walt. One night my daughter and I where waiting for DH (thought he was in the park still, turned out to be a misunderstanding and he went back to the resort because he thought we had left) and literally everyone was gone.......just her and I.....sitting.....not a person around......surreal. Probably my favorite WDW moment.....DD, myself and Walt staring up Main Street without a sole on it......waiting for security to kick us out.....KIDDING It was awesome
The indoor firepit at AKL/AKV JAMBO. DH and I loved hanging out there at night with a couple of drinks after our kids were in bed (they were now 17, 15 and 6).
