favorite doughnut??

Given a choice I would rather eat a crumb bun or whoppie pie or anything other than a donut.

When we went to Portland Maine they had a donut shop called the Holy Donut that made some tasty donuts. My favorite was the maple bacon.

If anyone is headed to Portland the Two Fat Cats make excellent whoppie pies and blueberry buckle bars.

I have a few. My all time favorite is from my hometown bakery. They call it a dot, it's a chocolate frosted yeast donut with a huge dollop of frosting in the hole, so good.
I love pretty much anything from Krispy Kreme - it's so rare that I go there, I just love them.
Last summer I spent a week in NYC and found this donut shop online. They change their flavors seasonally, but when I was there they had a crème brulee donut filled with corn pudding. O.M.G. The absolute most amazing donut I've every had.

Butternut Crunch from Dunkin Donuts
I wonder if they have them in Florida... I have not had one in at least 7 years

I don't eat donuts often maybe once a year, year and a half but when I do I never eat just one...I stuff myself then I don't crave them till the next year.

If I were stuck in Jumanji my weakness would be doughnuts. I like them all but a good cream filled Bismarck or long john are the best!

On the way home from the gym this morning I had to stop at the grocery and said to myself, “self, don’t buy a doughnut”.

Well, I didn’t buy one! I bought two!! :)

Granulated sugar covered cake donut. Perfection.

Depends on my mood and the shop. If it is Dunkin the Chocolate Glazed or Toasted Coconut are my favorites. We go to a bakery on vacation at the shore, Kohler's in Avalon NJ , and I love their Creme & Jelly Donuts.

Powdered sugar with a Bavarian cream filling. Not everywhere sells them so second runners up are glazed cake donuts-cherry, blueberry but not chocolate.

Wawa’s doughnuts aren’t bad but I love Chester’s Bakery. Dunkin’ Donuts I could take or leave. They were better when they were made in house back in the day.

When I was a kid, my favorite was chocolate coconut from Dunkin. Favorite now is Boston cream, but I rarely eat them. Like maybe once every two years.
